Timelapse taken on March 25, 2016 of American Airline Flight 137 from Dallas Fortworth (DFW) to Hong Kong (HKG). Used a GoPro 4 Silver with a window mount on seat 12A (business). GoPro Silver 4 video timelapse during a flight from IAH to DFW using a suction cup mount. The clip was broken up in to parts with varying speed (slowing down the takeoff and landing while speeding up time above the clouds).

You said u used 4k video time lapse mode with 1 seconds shutter speed, do you mean a 1 second exposure kr a pic was taken every 1 second?
I believe the terminology from GoPro is video timelapse 'interval'. I used a 1 second interval which is the equivalent of 1 frame per second, I do not believe the exposure time is set at 1 second. In order to get the footage within 5 minutes I sped up the timelapse in post processing with fluctuating speeds. I think future airplane timelapse would benefit from being more selective instead of having a comprehensive end to end flight especially for longer flights. This would mean I wouldn't need to make such drastic speeds ups which take away from the details.
