    I do fine with mirrors, buut a backup camera is very nice. the truck model has a 7" screen & can be wifi but on a tractor the cable/wire connections are short and better. please delete the music. its just loud and covers up the sound of plow/blowing snow

      Do you mind letting me know what kind of backup camera you have? Did you buy it online? Also as for the music, other people have told me to delete it so we released another video that does not have the music as a lot of people prefer to listen to the engine and the natural noises of the blower.

      Hi, unfortunately I did not name any plans but I can give you a material list below that can help you build one. The overall dimension is 30ft by 6ft wide. The base is made up of 2x6 pressure treated. The posts are 6x6s and they are on a 10ft spacing on the front and back. The beams are also 6x6x10ft long each. Rafters are 2x6x8 long at 2ft spacing. I made these 8ft long as the aluminum roof panels are 8ft as well. I put 4 rows of 2x3s across the roof rafters at equal spacing to screw the roof panels into. The siding pieces are 1x8s, 6 footers on the sides and 10 footers on the back. I hope this helps.

      I wish I live in a place like this. I can collect firewood from the fallen trees in the woods and be off grid with my husband. We can plant, gather and hunt for our food. A bit hard, but for 2 people with grownup kids and have their own lives, we are lucky to see them once a month. The youngest won’t even read or answer your calls. The middle one just reply with private messages. The eldest no communication at all. I’m 60 and my husband is 65. We are both working hard, but I have 3 spinal surgeries which left me with trouble walking, standing and sitting for a long time. We never ask money from our 3 children. When we are old at age 70 and 75 I believe the Lord will provide for us. At this time we are saving every single penny.

      @@nancychong4650 the Lord will always provide. We have grown up kids too, one in university and one in highschool, and yes they barely participate in this self sustainable life we are trying the create. I am hoping that one day God will touch their harts and they will follow out path. The kids now days have a lot of external negative influences which is sad and ver different than the world we grew up in.

    Laying the bucket level and driving backwards only packs the snow down and can turn it to ice very quickly. Need more angle on the bucket to drag the snow off the macadam if that is what the driveway is made of

    Does the fact that the conventional unit requires so much more wood translate into needing to be fed more often? How often does each unit have to be fed during a typical day? If you fed the conventional unit with the same quality and size of wood as you do the gasifier, would it significantly improve its efficiency?

    • @timberstoneranch
      @timberstoneranch 18 днів тому

      Excellent questions. The conventional unit has a much bigger fire box so while you have to feed it more wood, larger pieces and not necessarily split, it does not require to feed it more often. In a typical day each unit has to be fed twice a day, once in the morning and one in the evening, preferably every 12 hours. No, the conventional unit prefers large, green logs so it can burn for longer. If you put dry plot firewood it would not improve efficiency. A conventional unit burns the wood to heat up the water jacket around the fire box. A gasification unit “bakes” the wood to create hot gasses that go through different chambers to heat up the water jacket. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions.

    The cleaner burn if there are a lot of homes around would help keep peace in the hood. We dont have any neighbors. On our farm we basically just harvest dead elm or dead locust or branches that have broken off around our fields after storms. It's a clean up process for us and we get 5 months of really hot water and really good moist heat coming out of our registers. The comment about the size of wood , you can cut wood to the size of your choosing in either kind of stove. Over time these boilers will pay for themselves over and over if you are in a position to feed it wood . Ive had one for 20 plus years.

    After the doe gave birth how many days before you milk her

    • @timberstoneranch
      @timberstoneranch 28 днів тому

      Typically 2 weeks but there are some factors to take into consideration. If she had one kid and the kid is not keeping up with the production, the udder is hard and the goat is not comfortable, you can milk earlier than the two weeks. If she has had multiple kids and is managing on her own, 2 weeks is a good time to pull the kids away at night, milk in the morning and then let mama and the kids together all day to have as much as the kids want. You then separate at night and repeat. I hope this helps.

      Do you mean inside the house?

    • @jasonbroom7147
      @jasonbroom7147 Місяць тому

      @@timberstoneranch - I mean, presuming that's where you want to be warm, then yes. You can heat a reasonably well-insulated home, using a masonry heater, with 1-2 cords of firewood per winter. Supplement with a mini-split, air-source heat pump for the shoulder seasons, when lows are at or above freezing, and you might not burn a full cord. Wood boilers are smoky, messy, wood-eating monstrosities. Given the other options available, I'll never understand why folks choose to use them.

    • @timberstoneranch
      @timberstoneranch Місяць тому

      I understand your point. We chose ours because we are in a rural property and the smoke is minimal with this unit. Also a big factor was that we can heat multiple buildings. Lastly the house insurance is quite higher if you are have fire in the house. So it’s a game of the best option for different scenarios.

    • @jasonbroom7147
      @jasonbroom7147 Місяць тому

      @@timberstoneranch - Yeah, most insurance companies don't know the difference between a wood stove and masonry heater, but the latter is several orders of magnitude safer.

    I had a huge rear mount for my 1026r for a 300 ft uphill drive, couple seasons and twisting backward in the cold was enough. The only advantage would be still having the loader when it got deep (NW PA snowball). Found a used front mount and never looked back (pun intended). Put the box blade on the back for an extra scrape, and when it gets deep, I can use that to create another 3-4 foot buffer by back pushing the sides. YMMV, I'm happy for your new purchase, and do some back stretches beforehand, OK?

    • @timberstoneranch
