Lil' Thumper Power Hammer - The Lil' Hammer with a BIG thump
Power Hammer
UPDATE: due to family issues, we have had to put our business on hold. I will try to check back often to answer any questions. I am looking at getting blue prints together, but I can not place a timeline or guarantee on their production. To many variables right now.
This is our new shop sized power hammer, we call it The Lil' Thumper. An affordable, shop sized power hammer with a BIG thump!
We designed this for the guys who need a fully functional power hammer, but don't have the $7k and a forklift for the full sized machines.
18 lb hammer, 160 lb anvil, 2.7 blows/second, 110v AC w/ foot control, comes with one set of quick change dies. Fully adjustable hammer force allows for heavy billet forging or lighter finishing strikes. Dies are easily adjustable to 0, 45 and 90 Degrees with just the pull of a pin. The stand is fully mobile, and can be leveled. The rubber mat (included) is 3' x 4' to give you an idea of the foot print. You can easily store Lil' Thumper out of the way, then move it to where you need it, when you need it. It can even be disassembled for transport.
The cost of The Lil' Hammer, stand, one set of dies and rubber mat (as seen in the video) is $2500.00 plus crating and freight. If you are interested in obtaining a Lil' Thumper for your shop, send me a message.

Good..good.
Let's see it moving material. Let's see someone forging with it.
Any update on this or just making the plans available?
Are you still selling these hammers?
Affordable my ass
How much is it?
Приезжайте в рашку , я вам за 1000 бакинских сбацаю
I saw your update. I'm sorry about your family troubles. Have things leveled out enough that you can start offering those blueprints you mentioned?
Ok. I like what I see. I like that it doesn't take up so much space, it looks like it won't be difficult to maintain and/or fine tune and adjust as time goes on. It looks easy to put together. Does it need a air compressor? It doesn't look like it does. I think the price is very good. Where are you located to consider picking it up to transport instead of shipping.
Is the a leaf spring on the top ?
Nothing like dry smashing your dies and ruining them. At least use a wood block or something so you don’t destroy it.
Love it!
I've always wanted to use my everlast welder to make a power hammer. That design of yours looks really good.
looks kinda like a treadle hammer but motorized. Great concept.
18lb hammer and only 120bpm. Small hammers must strike fast to move any metal. A Litte Giant 25lb hammer strikes at approx. 350-375bpm. My Kerrihard 30lb hammer runs at 250bpm. Very light hammers for planishing sheet metal run at 850-1350bpm. There is a reason this hammer is not shown doing any actual work....
AndTheCorrectAnswerIs true fact! My 25 lb LG runs like an uzi! Honestly compared to heavier hammers, they’re a bit scary. Lots of stuff moving damn fast.
That's a nice looking hammer. I'd like to see how well it moves metal.
Wow,
what size spring is it??
Do you still have this hammer, I know you don't have the shop anymore but it would be cool to see it hit some steel
Is there a reason the rear linkage is so long?
