I have C20XE engine, with OEM internals, except pistons, they are forged. But everything is polished and ported...a lot of hours to build it. OEM, becouse of the race series regulations. It produces 185 hp and 230 Nm of torqe. The gearbox is standart H pattern Opel F16, but with close ratio gears from different Opel gearboxes and 4,7 final drive. Without LSD. So, basically, it's a standart Opel parts put together with a lot of time spent on research and nearly 10 years with this car, developing it more and more each year. By the way, it is on standart Opel Astra G brakes, without booster (I have pedal box), but with CL brake pads. And KW 3-way dampers produced for this car in factory. Thank you for your comment, we are 3 times Baltic touring cars and 2 times Latvian touring car champions with this beauty. I love it!

great to hear! Opel Astra G is the best car on wet track, I can tell you that. As I am racing this car for last 15 years, I know a lot about everything on this car :)) If you need some advice, do not hesitate to ask.

@@janisvanks3293 how good is astra handling compared to e36 bmw,peugeot 306,and similar good handling cars from that era?I am new owner of astra and really like it and I hope to make it fun car...

@@thekeepers1086 ​ Astra handles good. But it isn’t E36 nor P306… it understeers a lot. So if you want to race it, you have to work on settings (shocks, alignment, weight distribution ect..) but if you get it right - meaning - if you can get it to be neutral - sliding all 4 wheels in corners, and you get used to it, then it is a propper weapon!
