db1 practice. The bomb strat works nicely when you have a bomb and 2 damage on any of the db variants. There's 2 branches: 1) If you can reach the 5th tile (e.g. 1:05), place a bomb, then go (down, down, right, right). Steam Playtime: 473h A lot of improvement came from playing in coop with Coda lobbies. Idk if I'd still be playing this character if not for that tbh. Excited to try Zone 4 finally.

Steam Playtime: 26.4h Probably the hardest boss i've beaten in a game, took like 3h-4h ish. Not really my favourite boss in this game but i'm glad I'm done with it.

Steam playtime: 380h Took 80h since z1 but a fair bit was from messing around in coop for fun. So far I've probably spent like 70-75 hours on coda. Don't expect z3 to be too much harder than this because the bpm is like the same.

Steam playtime at this point: 264h I have no idea how long it actually took me to get this really. I started grinding at like aria 40h into the game, low% maybe 80h in but i did a lot of extra stuff in the middle. Very Polyamorous, coda, and lowest of the low are the only achievements left. I'm definitely doing a 13char run but I'll see if i can handle the other two.

The reason i didn't collect any items in zone 5 was because this was supposed to be a low% run. After accidentally collecting a bomb in 4-1 i figured might as well do it normally and i just won lol. Still need to do story mode and low% aria before i begin grinding the all character run achievements.

I have done all zones for all characters (except monk), I have 55 total hours. Is that good progress? also is it possible to do coda on a ps5 controller, no dlc?
Only 55 hours is pretty amazing, considering that Aria and Bolt are very difficult characters to master. There are at least 2 confirmed players who have done coda run on controller so yes it's possible. Even without DLC
@@MikeyJr thanks, also congrats on completing coda, you going for all chars low% next or no? Also I have completed all single zones for monk, his vow of poverty mechanic sucks. Also does the rhythm get consistent with coda? (Especially death metal).
That's very good progress! Definitely faster than mine. I'm sure it's possible to do on ps5 as others have done it before. The rhythm definitely gets consistent at one point. I used to drift in the beat or get surprised easily when i began, but that lessened alot. Death metal feels impossible but even that gets consistent eventually. You just have to keep playing. Also yea I'm going for all chars low% rn.

you can get texture packs with a mod it's on fireborn's channel, its called a complete guide to hollow knight modding or smth (he'll show you a list with texture packs, its probably there)

how does this spike wallbounce work and how can you destroy the bots from below?
after you hyper into a spiked wall you have a few frames to input a jump to not die and get a wallbounce instead to destroy the bots from below you have to input down when you get near them
