The Greatest Animated Summer Ever?
I took an almost year long hiatus, but this summer movie season has brought me back! This is possibly the greatest summer ever for animated movies, so here's some thoughts on each of them. I hope you all enjoy.

Disney has made a lot of great animated films in the past, but their track record for the live action remakes hasn't been so hot. In this video, I discuss a few of the biggest (critical) failures over the last few years, and my thoughts on them. I hope you all enjoy! #disney #disneyplus #pinocchio #thelionking #aladdin #failure #moviereview #movie #thelittlemermaid #remake EderKFCard's Video: L...

How I Met Your Mother ruined a good series with a terrible ending, but it eventually redeemed itself. This video recounts my time watching these characters, and my mixed feelings towards the whole thing. #howimetyourmother #alternateending #himym
The Bob's Burgers Movie: Ending an Era
Переглядів 33 тис.Рік тому
Recently, The Bob's Burgers Movie was released on streaming, and it got me thinking about the other films like it. This video recalls many of my experiences with these flicks, and details my argument for why studios should continue to make these types of movies. I hope you all enjoy! 00:00 Intro 01:51 South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut 03:19 The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie 05:26 The Simpsons...
Jafar was actually better
What do you expect these movie were made to leach off of nostalgia and the projects were given to incompetent artist, from actors all the way to directors. If you didn’t know “The Beauty and the Beast” remake was directed by the same person who directed Twilight
Seeing Spiderman's radically new animation style was very refreshing and fun. I was definitely on the hype train for that one. Not to mention the soundtrack went hard af lol. Great video man keep it up
That has to be the nicest negative review of the Mario movie I’ve seen
I really didn't enjoy it, but my opinion isn't the only thing that matters. Plenty of people had a great time and I'm super happy to hear that from fans! This was just my best opportunity to talk about how I felt.

bro this is some like 300k sub type video, like your so underated
speaking facts
I appreciate the support! It's been a while since my last video, so I can only hope my next one is better.
I really don’t understand what’s happening with these live action Disney remakes when they stated they where actually pretty promising but now a lot of their most recent ones are…..not promising
You forgetting to put the audience scores for lion king and Aladdin proves yousupport critics over fans, they are not failures! They are successes! Cuties fanboy
Audiences have always liked stupid pandering nonsense, stop using cuties as a crutch, get a new argument
I’m sorry but all the va’s were awful
The live action villain spin offs are pretty decent, and Jungle Book was also pretty good, but the literal live action copies on the other hand…
One of the major reasons why disney movie quality is bad is because they dont gave good messages and put all this unnecessary forced things about race and genders like common kids just want to watch something entertaining for kids not things that they can't understand
You know what's sad though Disney once said we don't make movies to make money we make movies make more movies. Nowadays Disney is like 🤑 And not to mention Jumbo Dumbo's mom in the remake did not die. Like she did in the original. Kids deserve better.
"Aladdin" completely wasted Alan Tudyk as Iago. You get him to do Iago and you just have him squawk?
Cinderella is the ONLY live action done right. It is a stand alone with an amazing storyline, not a shot for shot worse remake.
I liked the jungle book live action. It was great. As far as the rest, they were garbage. Tlk one was hideous. None of the actors could sing and the music to it...WHAT?? It was one of those "what did I just see?" Responses...It was one of the worst, colorless, life less movies I have EVER seen
I mean, I enjoyed Aladdin, but I agree it wasn’t a good movie 😅
Why Disney is acting like a Video Brinquedo?
Idk if this has anything to do with Disney but I'm gunna say it anyway, In the fifth grade my class read a book called "Sign of the Beaver" and it was a good book. When we finished my teacher told us that we would watch a movie on Sign of the Beaver. We were all exited and when the day came, we were disappointed. You see, in the book the two main characters fought a bear and in the movie, they didn't do that. They kept focusing on the boys family when they didn't in the book. And every interesting part in the book wasn't in the movie. It SUCKED and people in my class weren't afraid to say it, even my teacher agreed
What is that website shown at 0:13?
I’m ngl with the lion king I understand why they looked so emotionless. It is so incredibly difficult to add emotions onto an animal that does not normally make those emotions. Like how do you make a lion look sad or concerned?! The chronicles of narnia struggled with it in their first 2 movies but they did a much better job with aslan, the beavers, even the wolves! They even made a badger look sad!
Honestly I’ve given up on Disney. Imma just enjoy what I love from Disney and ignore what I hate. Not worth it anymore.
All the creativity in Disney is gone
I completely disagree with will smith's genie. Sure he can sing, and the added layers of singers improve the ambiance of the "Prince Ali" number.. but the character as written for him is strange when compared to the original (not that the added attitude couldn't work OR that it should have been exactly like Robin's). But singing "the princes was HOT" and seeing Jasmine being put off by him instead of Aladdin throwing kisses, or constantly telling Aladdin "don't touch me" when he nervously meets the Sultan.. as if disgusted or didn't really want to help the kid (not to mention the constant "trust" issues), and MANY more changes to him and to everyone else's.. simply ruin the core of it all. If you REALLY pay attention, you'd see he is also part of the problem. Oh, and saying seth rogen is a great "anything" is just wrong.
You're focusing on the success stories, but most of these film adaptations were failures on par with The Bob's Burger's movie. Teacher's Pet, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Power Puff Girls to name a few. Plus, if you ask anyone how they feel about these kinds of movies, 9 times out of 10 you'll be greeted with "it's just a long episode". A lot of people don't see the value in making the scope of the cartoon world they passively watch once a week bigger. The bigger problem is that there are simply not a lot of popular cartoons anymore. Kids and teens just aren't interesting in what most of Western media has to offer. Some kid's cartoons are getting movies, they're just going to streaming. Regular Show, Adventure Time, The Loud House and Invader Zim all had what I would have considered "theatrical" level animated movies. Even Hey Arnold got a new movie, in fact, what was intended to be the ORIGINAL movie, but all of these were released with little to no fanfare. Meanwhile, the adult animated shows that are popular are the same ones that have been popular for 20 years. Sure, maybe we'll see a Rick & Morty movie one day, but I don't think anyone actually wants that. Bojack could have been a contender, but Netflix shut it down as soon as they unionized. I think what's filling the gap, and what you may be missing, are anime movies. Anime is incredibly popular with today's youth, and nearly every successful series is getting a theatrically released film. Whether that film gets distributed in America is entirely dependent on the popularity of said show, but it's still happening. I know it's recent news too, but the Last Airbender movies might help bring this back. In general, 2D animation is really suffering in the U.S. and all we can really do about it is do our best to support one when it comes out. I knew so many people who would have loved to see The Bob's Burger's movie, but they didn't even know it came out! By the time they did, they missed it. That's the fate of niche media nowadays. There is rarely anything big that brings an audience together.
The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan and Wendy and Snow White are our last hopes
The fact they crammed celebrities with zero voice acting experience instead of the original actors is a travesty
Disney remakes are releasing every single year. And people criticize them for being nowhere near as good as the original, having ugly CGI, being shot for shot retellings, and having little personality to them. Also not to mention people are just getting tired of the Disney remakes. I just think they don't know how to make movies anymore and that's evident with them buying Fox and the Disney remakes releasing every single year. Not to mention with remakes like Lion King, Mulan, Pinocchio, Dumbo, and Lady & The Tramp, they honestly have no idea as to why people loved the original movies at all.
they didnt care about continity like every show from 2010 to now.
the office and breaking bad? yeah sure
I used to be a big Disney fan, even as an adult. I no longer have any interest in even going to the Theme Parks. The greed and garbage content is so off-putting I think I finally grew up...
they are lazy and wouldnt expect employees to be lazy.
When can I leave to be on my own! (And yes I know, wrong live pinnichio from 2022)
Instead of Disney remakes, they should make Disney retellings. Most Disney movies are at least loosely based on earlier stories/myths/ect. Imagine a more accurate version of furry Hamlet or a Pinocchio with its own new story. Say what you will about Maleficent, since at least they were doing something distinct
I have a lot of hope for The little mermaid. Disney has put out some crappy remakes but this particular remake is apart of an agenda so I imagine they worked extra hard for this one to be good. I mean they’ve been filing for years and it’s still not done.
It’s satisfying that a Hollywood adaptation of a hit Japanese novel (which is a sequel to another hit Japanese novel) has its own defenders as well. I feel more satisfied by its modest international success than by its atrocious colour grading.
The only good ones are Pete’s Dragon and Jungle Book, which is even better than the original
It’s kinda weird how the critics were actually right in the case of the first two movies here, while the audience ate that shit up, but everything went 180 for the Mulan remake. Also is it me or does the new Pinocchio sound like kazoo kid?
The lion king and Aladdin were ok! Those critics score are biased
I actually kind of liked the lion king remake and that’s coming from someone who is also a die hard fan of lion king. Like I carried a simba plush as a child for years and I have plenty of merch of it. Even though nothing will ever beat the original I’m so starved for more Lion king I didn’t even mind it
The most cynical comment on Pinocchio that I've read (which seems feasible) is that Disney rushed it into production to make sure that it beat the del Toro version slated to come out next month, and therefore coming up first on Google searches of "Pinocchio 2022"
bullet train was the shit. it was SO good.
I thought the movie was excellent, I'm very excited to watch it again, now that it's on digital
