Calling all Janners, Devonians and those touristing in Devon on Sunday 8th September. Fancy a night out at the Teignmouth Pavillions? Worlewind Concert Band are on tour (from neighbouring Somerset but arriving on a coach so definitely on tour) and are really delighted to be playing some top toe tapping musical numbers from Film, TV, West End Shows, the charts throughout the decades and more. There will be something for everybody in this eclectic mix of music and we would love to perform for you. Tickets are just £12 and can be purchased directly from The Pavillions or from our website www.worlewindband.co.uk. Our founder and conductor Julia Radctliffe and husband Andy both have incredibly fond memories of the pre modernised “hut”/ theatre in Teignmouth. Coupled with dubious flooring providing wet feet in the orchestra pits if the tide was in! They and the band as a whole are very much looking forward to performing in the superb and renovated setting which Teignmouth are proud to boast. Regularly selling out in Somerset, they want to share their joy and music with Devon! Please come along and sample the superb quality of our playing. Throw in a few bits of singing (you are welcome to join in) but more importantly, sit back and enjoy what we offer. If you like big sounds from tunes that you will know, we guarantee that you will be sure to be entertained for the evening.
