I use to get bullied at my program for having braces on my teeth because I had a gap in my teeth and when I got my braces on my teeth I start crying for day how much pain my teeth were in in was crying because people hurt my feelings and I didn’t make a lots of in in elementary school and high school I just get bullied at I listen to this song all the time when I get bullied and I still get bullied 😢😢😢😢💔💔💔🥺🥺

I remember in 3rd grade when the guidance counselor shared this with my class. First she read the book and then played the cd. I had just gotten glasses and headgear that year, I was already feeling self conscious about being shorter than everyone else (I was the oldest in my class too so it was no secret I was different) and I know now as an adult I have ADHD so school was always an uphill battle. It was the first time I knew I wanted speak up and help people like me who don't fit in the box made by society. I am now starting my program to bring others to God who made each person perfect.

How I remember this song: I was in 3rd grade when a teacher during ‘rotations’ had given us a copy of the lyrics and wanted us to circle which lyrics we relate to. When the teacher chose someone to pick up all the copies of the lyrics, the student handed all the copies back to the teacher and noticed there was a wet dot on one of the copies that a student put her name on. She called her out in the middle of class and said ‘eww (students name) what is that?’ The student had her head down and answered ‘a tear.’ This song really speaks to students who have/are experiencing the same thing as the lyrics.
