This plant smells so intoxicating! Growing up in Alaska I would pick lowbush cranberries (lingonberries) and crow berries and would take some leaves of the Labrador tea around and crush it in my hands to enjoy 💕 very informative video!
What do the seedlings look like?
I understand that the "Coltsfoot" is critically imperiled species in NY State! At a high risk of extinction!
❤
Medicinal?
Her high pitched voice!!!!!(
the bob ross of plants
There are no Red Cedars around Siskiyou county, but there's Yellow Cedar everywhere. Too bad, because Red Cedar carves better. 😊
Excellent! Instant subscribe!
Love this wee plant…sprang up in the shady part of my yard…I’m in Alberta
Very informative.
thank you!
I love these trees, thanks for the video!!
do they spread well on their own? or do they take some time? i planted 2 this year so i don't know but i'm hoping to have them self propogate in an area and become a ground cover.
Great Series!
Awesome - These interviews are great. I just planted one of these in my hedgerow… instantly a favorite.
I've only had a handful. They ranged from very sweet and full of dark juice to bittersweet with the taste of a melon crossed with a hint of dark cherry. The bitter taste lingered. They left my mouth and hand stained dark purple. Not bad, but not for everyone. I would eat them again on a hike.
Doubly serrated leaves are not distinctive of Alnus rubra. Alnus incana has doubly serrated leaves. Alnus viridis can have singly or doubly serrated leaves.
I love you're hair, it's really cute! I wish mine could grow that long so I could bread it the same way! <3
Perfect video. Short and to the point. Thank you.
Wow, learned the proper name and how to pronounce it just from this short clip. Thank you very much.
I have this tree
How do you collect the seeds?
In Newfoundland, these are called "crackerberry" locally. The berries are edible but very flavourless.
One of my favorites in the early spring.
They can actually get over 100meters tall not 70meters
As kids we found these too sour to eat. And very annoying as we tripped over them constantly😂
Nice video. Thank you!
I love this one, thank you
Where to purchase for medicinal use? Thanks
Great video, as always!
Beautiful
Thank you. Nicely done comparison. Do we have many other ferns in BC?
Nice one Julia (and Alex)!
Great details for identifying, thanks!!
How can anyone not follow a channel with that title. Moss is difficult.
I just started learning about moss! Thank you!
Are they not protected in Canada?
Great stuff! Thank you.
Very cool! Love to see new content from you guys.
Thank you for helping me identify what's around my home (and study for school)! Thank you for making these videos!
The close-up of the veins was very helpful for me. Thank you!
Yes, the citrus smell is spot on! Thank you for helping me feel more confident on identifying this tree!
Love you Alex...
Nice Job Julia! Went to look up something for a Douglas Maple and you popped up! Glad to see you're still passing along your valuable plant knowledge 🙂
Lovely! Thanks for the video. Always informative, entertaining, and concise.
Thank you.
But how does it taste?
This shrub is a vine? 😂
Thanx<
