I am trying to rid my property of late night animals, skunks, racoons etc. The alarm is very piercing, which is good but would wake the neighborhood if I have to run out to shut it off in the middle of the night. do not think the light would be enough to scare off the animals. thay run on one half watt each with a range of 12 blocks line of site under F C C rules in the city out in the open you will get around 12 block's
