What a Cute ending of the season, as much as I have issues with some of the acting in this show, sometimes, this scene was pretty much perfect. I hope season 4 has more perfect scenes. I know I'm very late to watching this show, but the end of season 1 (back when it came out) didn't give me much of an interest in the show for a long time.

Michael is so flip-floppy with his emotions, one minute he is inlove with one person, then inlove with someone else, then back. I know this series is based on a book about teenagers, but this doesn't feel like how grown adults are, emotionally.

I did not realize this the first few times I watched this. But, they hooked up first when the trailer was in the desert. Now it is at the junkyard. I have to know. Did they have sex, drive the trailer to Michael's new home and then go at it again? No wonder Alex was too tired to go home.

I had to come back to this again because it's just been on my mind lately. I was reminded of something again that makes me irk when I think of that relationship. Removing Michael side of things for a moment because he was honestly a f-ing mess s2. He was grieving, running away and the maim reason he went to Maria was running away and suppressing his love for Alex and a lot to do with his abandonment struggles. But focusing on the Alex and Maria " friendship" part. Maria knows Alex is in love with Michael. It's not some small left over feels she feels or something she suspects. She knows it for real. And he confirms it back to her. She even tells Liz Alex is in love with Michael. Ignoring everything Michael was telling her, because we know those were lies he was trying to convince himself of. But from the side of that friendship she had so many reasons to stay the fuck away. And she even acknowledged that she should have but doesn't. All of a sudden in season 2 it goes from this is the man Alex is in love with to his ex. If it was his ex and their relationship is actually over that would be whole other story. But Maria knows that's not the case. I can't get behind it. They set up this heavy drama stuff in season 1. Where Maria chose to be selfish and knows Alex is in love with Michael. She knows this relationship is more than what she is being told. But season two that all goes out the window like none of it matters. There's no acknowledging this, there's no apology. In a better scenario Alex has every right to be upset, to be angry, to be betrayed. His side of that story was not handled well at all. I can accept in season 4 they are friends. People can forgive and move forward but I can not accept them as friends season 2. Those are not the actions of friends at all.

Thanks for all the work you did on this. Malex was a beautifully developed love story. It was so fun to get lost in the eyes of these two lovers because they were so good. It was literally a rush.

I love the way alex switched from captain in charge to soft and emotional. He sees the way Michael needed a little more explain and opened uo about something devastating so Michael could understand. The openess of " You are the one piece i can not go through life without" 😢

Sometimes it's as much fun to listen to the actors talk about their roles as to watch the scenes. I saw Tyler and Vlamis talking about the episode, the story line writing, and that reunion scene where Alex asks Guerin what mission he's working on and Guerin kisses him. Tyler: "Yeah, we were talking about work and it turned into a really romantic, sweet kiss from my cowboy." Vlamis: "Yeah, the kissing scene was amazing, dude. Two people not moving at all, fully connected. It was so good, dude." Tyler: "Yeah, I agree. We had some really good scenes." Phew! I had to pause the video to catch my breath.

This is what I love about Alex. He is a decorated combat veteran. He took down his father with one good leg and his crutch. Then he apparently dragged him into the bunker all by himself. But, he hates horror movies. Here and when Kyle wanted to go into the cellar. He is strong and vulnerable all at the same time. He is perfect.

I love how at the end of each season, Michael sort of updates Isobel on where he and Alex are. First season he says it is to hard. Second season they are at the bar for the song and he says it isn't time. Here he leaves her for their first date and she is so happy for him.

We get to see all sides of Alex in this episode. A little devious tricking the nurse. Taking charge even to the point of shutting down Michael. Vulnerable talking about the war. And, the last part when Michael makes his move and he just melts into it. I love all those parts of Alex.

I really wish they gave Maria more grip on her love stories. In my opinion Greg and/or Dallas are absolutely perfect for her but they really gave enough attention to where they stuck out. A lot of people only focus on miluca, especially her fans but if i was an actual fan of her I'd hate Michael for her. Its so obvious he was never ever her person. For one his heart already belonged to someone else. Two she deserves better than some who would always be in love with someone else and who only chose her as an easy choice. Greg and Dallas were souly foucused on her. And she actually has deep pure feelings for both without all the drama ans uncertainty. Her and Michael have a really good friendship going season 3 and 4 it really shows that what they always should have been. But its really ruins the dynamic when people push the romantic plot for them still. How is that fair to her? How are you a fan of her if your shipping her with a man whos shouting his love for someone else at every opportunity. I kinda understood s3 because people weren't aware or listening to interviews that told us malex were getting back together. But s4 where we are watching so many malex moments but then still push her with him, its kinda sad and it even upsets me because she deserves better than that. Dallas was the perfect pieces for her and it comes back full circle on what she said in season 2. She said she never feels safe in Roswell. Then she says Dallas makes her feel safe. That just reminds me of all rhe other epic lines the couples get. I just wish they focused on them a bit more so she could have a solid soulmate too like the rest

I really wish they still had maria and rosa apologize. I completely get why they had Michael do it because its to show his growth and thats so important, i honestly love it. But i do think they should have had them apologize too. Especially since in my opinion Rosa was being out of line and rude to Michael. I mean she's never even been the same scenarios as alex until now so its kinda unfair to claim Michael wasn't thinking of alex when Rosa literally never associated with alex until season 4. And Maria again her character would grow on me a lot more if they let her acknowledge her messed up behavior and apologize. This should have been another scenario of her apologizing for real, because tbh she of all people know how much Alex means to Michael.

I really don't see this as flirting at all. I really only ever saw a brother sister vibe between them.

I've noticed something eatching the last three episodes on here. Despite Michael saying he would risk everything to save maria too, he really doesn't. For three episodes she's in a coma and in danger but he's doing everything else. First trying to find kyle, then find the sword, then goes to rescue Max. Michael showed concern but didn't really do anything to help
