Pink Sloper V4 Problem! Maximize The Surface Area Rough bouldering problem for me. The trick I found was maximizing my surface area on my left hand on that sloper to go upwards. Wrapped it to make sure I don't slip! Pacific Pipe Oakland CA

Love the little swing on the 5th to last hold…definitely an underrated technique
Haha yea. Ideally if I was just stronger I would be able to static it 😅. I watched a some great climbers just do it without any momentum or swing and it looked great! My aesthetic heel hook thing probably wasn't doing much so I had to start swinging.
@@andrewliu00 using momentum in climbing isn’t always a bad thing, a lot of the time it just makes it more efficient:D

man, I miss pac pipe. I had to move to NY for college though, and the biggest gym here is probably less than 1/5 the size :/
Ay least you have a gym.. there’s none where I live so I can only climb when I visit in summers
Lowkey so grateful that this gym is so big and the problems constantly change. And not too far away is like dog patch and now "the Oaks" just opened up another great gym in Berk. Whenever I travel now I just also want to see new gyms and see what it's like but nothing seems as great as Pacific Pipe 😅
