@@manlio73 Yeah. I sorta forgot I had that, except when shielded enemies showed up. Most of the time I just felt like blasting everything. Haha.

@@FuelTheHatred haha I can understand! But it can saves you from a lot of damage when many enemies are on your route.

@FuelTheHatred definitely the monsters are coming right at you not issac and them appearing behind you is alot more intense.

@@travislewis5058 Plus, health can only be gauged by Isaac's breathing and O2 levels have to be checked by aiming your gun. All that's missing is VR control. Haha.

@@Xenobears Not a terrible idea. Relying on Isaac's heavier breathing to gauge health is a tad challenging in the beginning. However, your O2 meter does actually show up whilst aiming. Something I missed at first.

@@indyliv3328 Basically you just have to power the Soul Cube 5 times, by killing the Imps and Maggots that spawn in and he's gonesky. Worst "Doom" boss fight there is.

I sometimes forgot about the plasma gun, in favour of just hurling 'nades. Now if I had Nightmare unlocked, I'd have definitely utilised everything.

If they lowered the max ammo per weapon and/or the amount of weapons in the game, it may have turned out to be a pretty good survival horror game.

@@FuelTheHatred Dang now seeing this. Well I dunno if the BFG edition changed the ammo amounts/pickups, I am not sure of the official changes. But I swear the original was a bit tough trying to manage which gun to use.... But one thing stays the same though.... those damn Revenants ROFL.... certified pain in the @55 when that pops up, especially in those tight places. You make me feel nostalgic. Should try and play it again sometime.

My co-op partner wanted to handle all the ranged duties, while I focused on close combat. Plus I was aiming for a jump pack for my FC so I had two units to hammer down on enemies.

True. There's small things like that that I've forgotten over time. It's why I'm replaying them all on my Twitch channel.

I always preferred this sequel over OG Dawn of War, myself. Gives me a mixed feel of RTS with Diablo type RPG's I just can't pass up.

Yeah. The earlier fights weren't as difficult as the later game. I let them gain too much ground before wiping them out. It has...been a while since I've played these games. Haha.
