I am so grateful for my permanent home on Whidbey. It’s not a part time place after one’s acclimated to our way of slow life that shuts down by 8 pm you’ll never want to return to the main land. But mind you summer traffic is a crime waiting 3-4 hours every weekend or when one ferry goes down . Those weekends we all just play cards. Pinochle anyone!
