I've played Horizon 2 (I assume you mean Horizon Forbidden West) on my ArchBox. Had to fiddle with a Custom Proton GE 9-2, but no problem with ProtonUp-Qt. Didn't have any problem playing it, didn't end it by now, but you could say apart from Proton GE9-2, it worked almost out of the box. A little more work by the porting studio and it can become a Steam Deck verified title like Horizon 1 :D Besides: If you're checking if a game runs on Linux, take a look at protondb, there are alot of tips and tricks by other players. If I struggle with a game getting to run, protondb is my first port of call.

@@lizer5253 and still... Most games can get them working with little to no effort with some thinkering. I am not the most savvy Linux user, but playing rn with Linux Mint on VM. It is such a light and un-intrusive little OS. Makes Windows look really stupid. And with the Linux community behind my back? Normies will always have Windows, but for us enthusiasts that love to play games - I foresee interesting times ahead for gaming on Linux. I should know, I own a Steam Deck exactly for that reason.

I’ve been using Linux for 4 months and it’s been a good experience overall. The fact that basically everything is open source feels good and arch has been the best experience i had so far with every distro I tried (zorin os - Linux mint - nobara - bazzite - debian). In case i get problems I have the wiki anyway that covers 90% of the solutions

Hi, i use an xbox series controller, and i use it via bluetooth. If you mean your controller doesn't work with bluetooth, then the cause may be your bluetooth adapter itself. Not all of them properly work on Linux, even if they do on windows, you have to be lucky your exact model works on the system. The one i have is Ugreen 5.0 bluetooth adapter and it's flawless. My previous adapter didn't work on Linux while it did on windows, so i changed it for this one, knowing it'd work. If your controller doesn't work wired then i don't think i can help you much for that.

I dont know if anyone needs to know this but it was just cause I had to plug the moniter directly into the graphics card

So the more I play, the stutter will disappear? I have an RX 6750XT and couldn't find the reason why.

@@estebannaruto100 it's what i have experienced here and in other games. Also stutters can be caused by A LOT of things, even faulty rams can be a cause. But if everything with your hardware is ok, then you shouldn't stutter as much as the beginning. Update your driver if you didn't

Нет не пропали, у вас и а середине и в еонце заикания есть, если вы поплывете просто дальше вперед, опять будут подгрузки текстур и заикания и так пока всю карту не обязываете, пока все не подгрузится

​@@estebannaruto100не слушайте, оперативная память и процессор не при чем, меняйте карту амд на интел. У меня во всех играх 6600 заикается, старая 960 все эти же игры идут плавно.

​​@@lizer5253причина заиканий, это амд радеон. Я специально тестировал 6600 на другом компьютере и она также заикается, хотя другие карты нет. Происходит конфликт оборудования с кривыми драйверами амд. Вывод- Не берите амд карты.
