You're assuming your power grid can support the requirements electric trucks will have. Your also assuming that where the trucker has to stop that there will be enough (operational) chargers. Just not feasible on a large scale. There will always be diesel trucks!

What Bobtail isn't telling you is whenever they want to go home early like during a holiday they will close early and not pay you. This happened to me twice one's before Thanksgiving and one's before Easter. Even though I submitted the invoice a day before and all they said was it won't happen again both time's.

call an actual truck driver I would like to give my professional opinion on this matter. most American truck drivers are paid by the mile which means every mile you drive you earn a certain amount of money I think the average is $.53 up to about $.76 per company driver more for an owner operator or leasing. if you get a truck and let’s say 65 mph when you were going 70 that means you just lost 2 1/2 dollars an hour for every hour that you’re moving $.50 per mile. It will also make traffic worse because all trucks will be going the same speed all the time so there will be giant multi mile long line trucks constantly blocking lanes

In the companies I worked for, only 1 had speed limiters, and that one company basically hired me for my driving record being clean... Basically my good record was to offset the average record of the rest of the drivers. I left that company and didn't regret it
