@@okiezac6581 Most likely use it a shell office for people that work from home. Then they will use it in their portfolio to increase the businesses value. Then when the real estate bubble collapses and they see no more profits, they claim chapter 7,8 and 11 allowing them to not pay their employees, get a bail out and keep their unsold properties off of the market.

I live in Vinita. Somehow, I doubt this is gonna come to fruition. The city annexed land from the turnpike bridge to roughly 4490 rd. This annexation comes with great expense. Since the city annexed 300' of land on both sides of US 60, that in essence did something that is prohibited by state law, Strip Annexing. With this annexation comes a darker side. Since the city annexed, US 60 is now considered a city street, so the state is no longer require to maintain. That's really perplexing because the city can't afford to maintain this stretch of road either. Years ago, there was supposed to be a supposed NASCAR track built out by Ironside. The city annexed out to that area. Took the city almost a decade to supply that area with utilities. NASCAR never built a track. Callin it for what it was, it was strip annexation. Prohibited by state law. Today is no different. Especially considering that the construction company thats supposed to build park & the designer of the parks plans, have both sued Mansion Entertainment for over $5,000,000. I have mixed feelings about the park, especially considering my front yard was annexed. Since the city annexed my front yard illegally, I think they should be responsible for mowing. All in all, I see this as being a power grab. Maybe our new mayor should've used his higher intelligence to figure things out in proper order & be completely transparent. Instead of being so secretive bout everything. Reminds me of Nancy Pelosi saying that Congress needed to approve a bill before anyone could read what it was about. If the park ain't built by 2027, I'm pretty sure there's gonna be alotta pissed off people outside of town whose property was rural for generations until the city annexed it

The three-story house is 365 square feet with a full basement, wrap-around porches with white pillars on both stories and sits on 22 acres. The home is a Sears, Roebuck & Co. kit home built by Boulanger in 1918. Boulanger expanded the roof to accommodate the porches, making for a large third story that served as a ballroom. My father said he never could have built that house without Osage money,” said Ron Boulanger, Isaac Walter’s son. “And the truth is, nothing would exist around here (Osage County) without Osage money.” Isaac Walter was the son of Joseph Boulanger who was an interpreter for the Osage tribe while the tribe still lived in St. Paul, Kans. Joseph came to Indian Territory with the Osage in the late 1800’s with Isaac Walter. According to Ron Boulanger, his grandfather Joe served on the Osage council from 1889 to 1905. The Boulanger’s settled in Indian Territory. Isaac Walter had a wife and six children by the time the 1906 Act was passed, making him and his children eligible to stake claim to the Osage Mineral Estate. Two of Isaac Walter’s children died and so did his first wife, leaving him with their shares to the estate. It was with his second wife Grace he would pick out his grand home. After allotment and the death of his parents, Isaac Walter settled on his 160 acres, platted the town of Boulanger in 1917 and named it after his father, Ron said. In total, Isaac Walter had four wives. He had six children with his first wife, who died shortly after the sixth child was born. His second wife, who helped raise his first six children, helped him pick out the house that became “the big house.” With a team of horses and a wagon, he hauled the house piece by piece from Elgin, Kans.,” Ron Boulanger said. “He hired a guy to dig out a full size basement and he did it with a shovel and wheelbarrow, one guy.” After the home was built Isaac Walter had grand parties on Saturday nights. It was a gathering place back in the late teens. Everyone would come around there Saturday night and drink iced tea. Because in the winter he (Isaac Walter) would cut big blocks of ice from the river and bury them with straw so in the summer they would have iced tea, it was a big thrill for everyone,” he said. Isaac Walter also had his own baseball team, called the “Osage Reds.” The team played other towns in the area during the booming 1920’s. The good times didn’t last long however, Walter’s health declined and a large fire swept through Boulanger and nearly wiped out the town. Isaac Walter moved to Kansas shortly after the fire in the mid-1920s and sold the home to a cousin. He would marry two more times, and with his fourth wife he had five children, which included Ron. Isaac Walter died in 1960 at the age of 81. Ron was 19 years old.

@@okiezac6581correct, by the time the EF4 got to Bartlesville it was weakening and bouncing then it lifted for a spell. But the fear of any Tornado outside your shelter causes fear and a hopeless feeling and that has no EF rating.

So glad that it wasn’t. As someone from Ponca City, OK now in Atlanta, Georgia I was watching intently. Growing up you never really hear about Bartlesville getting a tornado and the way they were calling for a tornado emergency, the immediate thing that comes to mind is the Moore 2013, 1999 tornado. So with Sulphur and other communities being hit, it was scary to watch it. Just so glad the community where I still have family and friends were sparred from a potential F4.

Unfortunately we live in Tornado Alley and it will happen again. The last one to hit Bartlesville was 1982 and it was only a EF-1. But in 1986 the city was flooded from the Caney River. It sucks. Some of us might not have structure damage to our homes but we do have emotional damage from the tornado hitting our city and Barnsdall some of us have family that lives there.

It looked EXACTLY like that in November. Now mid to late March Nothing, nothing has changed, not one blade of grass. I've never even seen a single person out there "doing something." Publishing that they are "getting ready to start" seems out of touch with reality on the ground. First it was the weather. Then it was Vinita's fault. Then it was the state's fault. Most of the people I talk to who actually live around here are extremely pessimistic that this is actually going to happen. We mostly HOPE it does... but there is no evidence I've seen of any progress anywhere. The rumors swirl that their investors have pulled out of the project?

Thanks for the video. I used to live in Vinita when I was a kid. Live about an hour and a half southeast of here now. Some say it will never happen! Some say they will build a RV park and nothing else! But if they build the theme park, It would be wild alright! Would be a shot in the arm for the local economy I gather! But one thing they would have to do is some major highway construction! That road through there wouldn’t handle that very easily. At the minimum some turn lanes and stop lights. Yes, keep up the occasional video on this. It will be interesting if they actually do more than the RV park. Take care. Tom

My camera doesn’t really pick up on the color reflecting in the fog 🤷🏾‍♂️. …otherwise the video is playing in speedy mode.

Yeah. I kinda want to go out there with a metal detector. I know a lot of people who like to camp there that never use the water. Just camping.

I was at washashe in like June and the water level was much lower than in this video. The cove where the boat dock launch is was completely bone dry you could kick dust no mud even. Copan Lake Washington Cove you can walk around it the courtesy dock is like 20 ft from the water line. Copan Lake 11-16-23 is running almost 8 ft Low. Hulah Lake is Bartlesville water supply. They had us on a tier 4 shortage. Not quite that bad at Hulah Lake now. Copan point fishing dock is too low to fish. Part of it is on dry land. You got one thing right is it's LOW LOW LOW No rain in sight for this area anytime soon. It's really getting bad on drought in Oklahoma.
