Spencer Lee was the aggressor throughout the whole match he was trying to toss him at the end it was a move of desperation. The new rules are garbage. If those two wrestled all over again I'm sure Spencer would beat him

Spencer was stronger than Rei but he didn't get in on 1 shot. I think his under hook pushing made him tired. Anyway, they are close and Spencer can beat him. Would have been fun to see what Micic could have done?

As they say in the country... every now and then even a BLIND HOG will find an acorn. Dake doesn't have what it takes to be a gold medalist. He choked like he has since college. Every time it counts he gets out-wrestled. Dake is in great shape and he's strong for 74kg - he just isn't a great wrestler. He will never be one of the greats. He never leveled up from folkstyle. Getting used as a practice dummy by Burroughs for a decade has stunted his growth!

@@beatmycarne9021 Just a prime example of why the US needs to start freestyle earlier. Dake was a beast in folkstyle and as much work as he has put into freestyle he should be a champion. To get tech'd 11-0 in the quarter finals is embarrassing for the US. There's the exact reason he spent a decade losing to Burroughs. Dake now has 43 losses. He's REALLY good at it.
