I have no problem with Kayla not doing trial. What i have problem with is her manipulating people into apologizing for sugesting she should do it. If she said "look people, i'm not in the best space right now and i this doesn't sound like something i can do" then no problem. Pouting and saying "But i don't want toooo!" instead shows what kind of person she is.
Problem with comparing Gillian with Katie Price, is that Katie at least tried all of her tasks. And that includes the awful cave one. She managed to get from 85% of votes to little over 40%. Gillian on the other hand refused to operate a machine. The only people that stopped voting for her are people who got bored of pressing her number. And that is about 10% of the people troughout her 6tasks when people voted. Katie was not saint but compared to Gillian, she was ok.
When Kerry refused to do the trial in season 3, you could se how devastated and ashamed she felt. But she went into the camp and told what happened and didn't try to find fake excuses. Then you have Gillian who contemplates hiding for a whole day just to avoid taking the blame. This is a 50+ yo woman. What a joke.
i know i am late but i think it was selfish of the people of The Great Britain for voting for Gillian seeing that she was annoying and cost the girls meals.
