I have to be blunt on this. since the inception of Djent, Metal Core and the rest of the sub-genre since 2000’s. Only a few of the bands will survive strongly. Most of the them are no longer releasing new EP’s. And due to the flux of independent releases. It is a make or break path. The overly populous Djent genre or we may dismissed saying Progressive Metal. May take it’s toll. Same intro, construct of chord progression that most of the time it sounded lame and too generic. We saw who survived and who no longer are present at the scene. Good luck!!
