Its a lovely coin (1979 my year 😁), and i can see it both ways. If it is 8g of 22k gold, it can be called a sovereign. But to me, it can't compare to the "real" sovereigns of the Royal Mint

The Royal mint has never trade marked the word sovereign so any mint can call there coin's sovereign's

Beautiful coins Jamie, Chards has that listed as a Isle of man gold sovereign, so i think it's just the same as their other coinage where they use their own designs on them compared to England. That 365 bit cracked me up. 🤣

Yes it is a sovereign, legal tender coin. Authorized by the Isle of Mann. Just different. Even your G&D Sov is also different. It is probably Australian because it flips north & south and the queen is facing the wrong way. Is there a tiny A under the horse? Great video - very nice Xmas animation. Very entertaining

Great video and Great Bar Collection. How long does it take for an order from Bullion Now? and how does the Tax/ Vat work?
Hey James, how you doing? I’m not sure of taxation rules for the UK, 🙏. But for me, they Deliver by FedEx, and a week or so later, I’d receive an import duty bill of about 8%. It still makes the price reasonable 🙏. I suggest that you send them an Email 👌( tell them that “Our man in Japan “ sent you🤣). Thanks for commenting, J🙋🏻♂️.

I watched the entire thing trying to figure out what you were making, as "diy channel bars" meant nothing to me. I'm still no wiser. You pulled out all these apparently me ntwd pieces, that look like coins or bullion, so I am just confused. Is it just a badge of some sort for your UA-cam channel? In any case, I think it would be interesting to see you make; ne from brass, and see how you think that compares to the copper and aluminum. I may still be clueless as to your objective, but I at least enjoyed watching the process.
