Here is a question, what’s the difference between Isaiah 1:14 (Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them. ) and Leviticus 23:2 (Then the YAH said to Moses, 2“Speak to the Israelites and say to them, ‘These are My appointed feasts, the feasts of YAH that you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies.)?
Well, the Isaiah passage in my opinion is making the point that they are not meaningful. Their hearts were not with God nor obedient only to God. They desecrated the appointed feasts and sacred assemblies by also observing the pagan rituals. They went through the motions but did not have a heart for YAH. As in Hosea God sees this as adultery. They have positioned themselves outside of God and made meaningless the sacred rituals. Bottom line: they broke the covenant of which the rituals are symbolic. In Leviticus the word “sacred” is key. “Set apart” to God. They instead were blending with various heathen practices. If there is a consistent message of the prophets, it might be "YAH only”. What do you think?
That’s petty much the way I see it, the Father had His/My appointed times that He set up and in Isaiah there was “ yours” or the peoples polluted set apart times or feast days. This was done by mixing or substituting heathen pagan practices into the worship of YAH. I brought this up because so many people use this verse in Isaiah to say the Father didn’t like His appointed times.
I just can’t keep quiet. All of Israel/ Ephraim/Northen Tribes and all of Judah/“Jews”/Southern Tribes have never gone back to the land and all tribes are not in the Land of Israel right now and all never returned in 1948.
