Why use the toxic aluminium foil?

Just curious, if you someone eats from tarnished silverware is it harmful? or is it ok?

I've tried this foil method before. It scratches the hell out of it. Def won't do that again. But I see this is way different, you just drop it in and it goes off by itself.

This method destroys the patina of the silver which is why polishing is the preferred method. Polishing improves patina, this completely destroys it. There's nothing new about this method. It has been known for decades and there's a reason polish is preferred.

It won't work if the handle is not touching the foil - try scrunching up the foil.

The next significant date I remember was the moon landing on 21 July 1969. But if you ask me what I had for breakfast yesterday I couldn't remember. LOL
