Affinity is not good usually but wen u use the cover of hsm it's a " free cast". So like u use it as a way to aggro and " frame trap " them. If they roll affinity wen ur on them u can rolcatch. If they dont roll they'll get hit by the affinity n stunned. Hsm as defense. Affinity to start a aggro chain. As for great soul arrow , regular is better imo cause of casting color . Looks similar to hsm so ur oponent will get confused by startup animation. Great soul arrow is dark blue. Hope this helps ;)

​​@@declan_dimitrescu6285I'm not much of an invader in elden ring but I've won a p big tourney with pure mage in duels focusing mostly on optimizing carian slicer dmg. The best spells in duels after testing alot are slicer. Swift shard . Magic glintblade. Star shower and terra magica . For invasions tho u proly want sumtin like slicer. Swift shard. Star shower and some ranged big spell like the canon of haima or sumtin similar to that for sniping ppl. Also good for ledges cause it knocks them back . But that's just my guess.

​@@declan_dimitrescu6285as for stats . Sumtin like this: 60 vig 20 mind 20 end 70-80 int . ( enuf dex/ str for minimum weapon choices but I wudnt go over 14 str/ 12 dex ) mage needs alot of int to work

I'm not sure it works 1 handed but its possible. I'm usually 2 handing when this works but a few ppl mentioned it effecting spells like beastial sling as well even one handed., so test it to be sure. i wonder why they would code in an overlap in the attack frames. Maybe to avoid the possibility of null damage-registration when <60 fps ? My memory is a bit hazy but cant ts r1 double hit as well?

It's one of the best ways to raise awareness, and frame perfect glitches are darn near impossible for most people in the heat of combat. More likely, this might relieve some confusion when the glitch happens unintentionally.

Ye it seems like it could be an issue forsure . I've done like 1.3k damage counter hits in pvp before randomly when attempting this. And no I havent spoke to anyone . I wouldn't really know who to tell

Ya Lusats seems to get best scaling with anything over 70 int or higher. Especially with offhand carian staff since u still get the passive buff.

@@mustafayigitkartal4257 Terra would mean you can never get rushed or pressured in smaller arenas. Would allow you to flask/bolus/swap for free basically
