This is tire derived wire from a tire grinding system that’s melted into ingots that are destined to become ductile iron products such as railroad iron, brake drums etc. The company is Entech Inc. in Middlebury Indiana.

RIP my whitewall tires, Turns out storing a classic car with whitewall tires in a mouse infested barn in snow county for 36 years causes them to dry rot so bad they can’t hold air, now I have to buy new ones for like $700 a tire.

Leandro, I no longer process tires in this manner. The company that developed this machine no longer produces it but they are very much still in business and have the ability and CAD drawings to produce parts for it. I currently have the machine in storage and would gladly consider selling it in its present condition along with any spare parts I have for it. A place called Kustom truck harnesses. They sold me a complete kit to do the swap. Came with the harness.

Hey AB. Those knives have two useable sides. We can shred around 1 million passenger tire equivalents per side. Machine has 352 knives installed on it. About a 50 man hour job to swap or flip them. That’s our valley shredder. We just swapped it for the blue one that used to be there. We just bought a huge upgraded shredder for laredo. Stay tuned! About to be zero landfilling in laredo.
Wish I was that vigorous at half that weight.

Thanks! Front motor mounts are the same and the rear had to be repositioned further towards the front of the truck. Each of two motor mount needs four holes for a total of 8. We drilled 7 since a factory hole was there to cover one of the 8.
