Agreed! The pool, parking garage and 2 bathrooms for under $900 is reeaal nice. Once you get out to Real Bilbao, Palmas Turquesa or Los Olivos the bang for buck is even better, but farther away from everything. Something we're debating right now

@@grandsolismedia we had hurricane shades that we dropped every night, but still, we could hear the music. It never stopped us from sleeping or enjoying tv or anything. The work trucks during the day were super loud tho. Like REALLY loud.

It's located in Ejidal and the area is great, not as noisy as the other side of the highway. But, we decided not to rent it because our current location is better for us and we're only paying $12,000 pesos.

Thank you Jeremiah we appreciate you! Found this on poresto.net, "Quintana Roo ranks fourth nationwide with 793 cases of dengue so far this year, with two deaths." But then the article goes on to say the cases started to decrease in December 2023 after having high numbers throughout the year. I actually got dengue in Oct 2023 shortly after we arrived, but there are a lot of people that have lived here for years who have never gotten it. The city has started fogging here more for mosquitos. Many locals don't make a big deal of it when we ask. Honestly, I'd say to not worry too much, but to wear deet repellent if going into any jungle areas. Hope you and your family enjoy your time out here! Let us know if you have any more questions.

Hey John! Thanks for the feedback, these "On the Go" videos are shot with our GoPro attached to our backpack and usually don't narrate so you can hear and see what Playa del Carmen is like. This video is of us walking to Coco Beach. We did not end up renting that $600 apartment, we didn't feel it was that much better than our current location. Not that I know of, we were at Punta Caliza on the beach and asked if it would be OK to fly the drone and they said no. Afterwards we went where there were no beach clubs and flew the drone from there. I'd say just be respectful of where you are launching from.
