But, That Wasn’t Really His Fault, And You Have No Right To Call Him A Naughty Engine. It Was The Cleaner. If He Hadn’t Meddled With The Controls, Thomas Would Never Have Had That Accident, He’s Innocent.

This is all Madame Medusa's fault, because she was the one that kidnapped Penny.
Sir Topham Hatt should feel ashamed of himself for scolding Thomas after crashing into the stationmaster's house.
I agree, especially since the stationmaster's house incident was actually the cleaner's fault and not Thomas'. Thomas should have just been scolded for becoming too arrogant over what his driver said about him being able to drive himself, but he sadly got scolded for the wrong thing instead.
When Thomas's Driver Bob Said, He Could Almost Manage Without Him. He Didn't Exactly Mean It Literally, He Meant It As A Figure Of Speech.

@@tomthetenderengine663 My inputs on each one you mentioned: Trouble for Thomas: Sir Topham Hatt was justified in scolding Thomas there. Percy's Predicament: To be fair, Percy did boss and bump the trucks around, which led to his accident. Donald and Douglas: My way of making that scene more tolerable is to think that Donald crashed into the signalbox on purpose to save his twin. Thomas Comes to Breakfast: Thomas should have just been scolded for getting arrogant over his driver's comment about him being able to drive himself. Instead, he gets scolded for something that was out of his control... James, Percy, and the Fruitful Day: Percy did get conceited, which led to his accident, but Sir Topham Hatt's angry expression here was much scarier to me than in other episodes. Something in the Air: I used to hate Henry being scolded there as a child, but nowadays, I realised that he is kinda at fault as he was rude to Thomas and didn't listen to him earlier on. Cranky Bugs: To be fair, Sir Topham Hatt did realize the truth and stated that he owed Thomas and Percy an apology. Middle Engine: Worst. Episode. Ever.
Trouble for Thomas: Now that I think about it, he did say because the freight cars were troublesome, Thomas still had a lot to learn, which was true. Percy’s Predicament: He should’ve just told Percy what he was not at fault for before the rest. Donald and Douglas: He should’ve told Donald that it wasn’t his fault that the rails were slippery, but he should’ve been more careful. Thomas Comes to Breakfast: All true. Percy, James and the Fruitful Day: He needed to scold Percy for being careless, but it was more than just that that he went for. Something in the Air: He should’ve told Henry that the tide was not his fault, but Henry should’ve listened to Thomas’ warning, and Henry owes Thomas an apology. Cranky Bugs: We needed to see Cranky in disgrace, but we had to wait a season later for him to do that, (No Sleep for Cranky). Middle Engine: Less I say, the better.
