Merging Pathways - Secret Forest MKAL
Do you have tutorials and a pattern for this scarf yet?
Thank you Such a lovely sock and the video is perfect 👌👌
I am new to colorwork so this was definitely worth the time to watch! Great tips!! Now to focus on my Step into Christmas socks!! XOXO
At 35:48, how do you knit the sts from the dpn onto the circular? That’s a really odd position to ry to knit from.
This should be interesting I am a left handed knitter so my head is swirling with how this will work but I love a challenge ❤
Does it matter which end is the long tail and which end is the ball?
No, you can do it either way.
Magic CIRCLE cast on at 11:17
Very helpful and informative. Thank you.
I love your asymmetrical shawl. It is unique in its pattern. Thank you for sharing.💖💐
So the first two stitches at the beginning counts as two stitches then?
Yes, that’s correct. 😊
You should show how to cast on your 6 STs English style for the knitters that knit that way.
Very nice pattern! Thank you! I have a question, maybe you can help me. When it’s the right moment to switch to the second part of the project? In that point we will be the middle of the shawl?
Hello! While this video explains the shaping, the patterns that use it will explain when to move on to section 2. It does not happen in the middle of the shawl, as it is asymmetrical.
So pretty!! This was so fun! Thank you!🎉
THIS!! This is why I love your mkals so much. You are so creative!
Super helpful, Lisa. Thank you!
No matter how I turn my needles I still have Ws on clue 1 and RS on clue 2🤷🏻♀️
@carolyachanin5966 - If I understood the pattern & the tutorial, I believe you have the 2 pieces opposite when 1st starting. Put Clue #1 with Wrong Side facing up towards you. Clue #2 should be the opposite of Clue #1, with the Right Side facing toward you. On the 1st Row with the SSK, you turn your work & when you pick up to knit, both Clue's should be facing you with both Right Sides facing you. I hope that made sense & wasn't too long!
What is the name of that stitch, please? I like it very much.
Nooooo. I can’t find instructions for the whole sock. 😢
I love your explanation!!! The dark color was not a problem for me. Thank you so much. I’ll try it. I’m going to look for instructions for the whole sock. I hope there is another video! Thanks again!
Todos sus chales son preciosos y muy originales, me gustan mucho. He hecho dos de ellos combinando colores y puntos y han gustado mucho.Gracias por compartir su maestría, muchas gracias desde España.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your sweet words and I love knowing that my designs have made it to Spain!
Do you have cats? I noticed scratches on your hands!
Haha... no! I just scraped it while packing. I realized when I edited the video that I should have covered it with a band-aid!
This is helpful Lisa but how do you do this when you have stitch markers in place along every pattern repeat? Obviously you can’t thread through the markers?
That’s correct. Do not run the lifeline through the stitch markers. The second method shown would not work if you are using them.
I was worried I was doing to left stitch wrong - but no! It’s not perfectly symmetrical but I love the finished look, which is what counts 😊
Como traducir al español
I love your videos, Lisa! So straightforward!
Thanks so much,,,Excited to get to this part,,,, Still on clue2,,,, Elaine🏡
Thank goodness for the video ! I am a visual learner 😊
At the end there are only 11 stitches instead of 12. Help please?
Very pretty and understandable
Your videos are so helpful. Not only showing how to knit these interesting stitches, but also I just learned how to do "recovery" knitting. That’s so helpful. Many thanks!
Thank you SO much! Clear, informative, easy-to-mimic instructions. <3
Wonderful video. Thanks.
Really well explain…thank you 🧶👏🏼👏🏼🤗
Thanks for sharing this tutorial
Wish you can remake this video with lighter color yarn
Thank you!! I was a bit tentative with the paper version (ugh). Your video is well done and I love that you demo in continental style :) Here we go....
This was great - your tutorials are extremely well done Lisa. Thank you! I have faith, and am enjoying the challenge of Clue 3.
Thank you! As others have said, when I read Clue 3 I thought, whoa! But now it seems more straightforward. I'll have faith 😄
Thank you so much for this video. I should have watched it last night, then I could have kept knitting this super fun MKAL! I had followed your instructions correctly. I should've had faith! Can't wait to continue working on ot today.
Thanks for this great tutorial. When I first read Clue 3 it freaked me out but I'm now feeling much more confident and can't wait to see how it turns out 🙂
Lisa, this is totally awesome, what a great mystery!!!
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial! I’m so excited to see what Clue 3 will look like.
Thank you Lisa! This is a wonderful Clue #3 tutorial. Excited to continue on with my Brighten Up project.
Darke colour is okay when watching the work happen, but not ideal.... Otherwise the video instructions are great, so thanks!
Sucks that the contrasting colour is so dark that we cannot see the stitches or what is going on.........
The pattern is lovely and tutorials can be so helpful but I find that no amount of enlarging can help me see very dark yarn colors. PLEASE take some time to make your tutorials in light color yarns. Bigger needles on tutorials would also very helpful. I would guess that many knitters share my frustration and why not take a little extra time to make us all happy? It would be so appreciated. Thank you!
That would be pretty on socks
Learning so many new stitches thank you
Happy to help! I hope you're enjoying it!
I put the first to live stitches on individual removable stitch markers. Then after I pick up and knit the three stitches along the side, I have a way to pick up And knit the cast on stitches.
*two
That's a great way to do it! I've also tried it by using Judy's Magic Cast-On, leaving the first two stitches live on the needles. It's a bit too fiddly for me to film, though... ha!
awesome idea! thanks!
I would be easier to see the hole where the dahlia starts if she stretched the knitting to identify the exact spot
