Dude it’s absolutely mind blowing that Glass Animals didn’t want to do this song with the boys. It is objectively such a massive banger…it would have been massive if it had come out. It’s so strange that TCS seems to always be right on the cusp of releasing huge collabs with big name artists and then something goes wrong which forces the song to be changed or it just doesn’t come out. Juice WRLD, Kid Laroi, and now Glass Animals.
From what I've gathered, Chainsmokers played it early before things were finalized with the release. This upset Glass Animals, and they decided to pull the plug. Take this with a grain of salt as nothing is truly confirmed. Could be GA just wasn't happy with the song, or didn't feel like it lived up to their discography. Making the early playing a bit pressuring if they were already iffy. Still wish it got released as a big Glass Animals fan
