Anime name: kaiju no 8 note: great anime give it a watch it you have the time

So the JSKDF is the Special Defense forces specifically trained and equioped for kaijuu. No mention of international combat had been made in the manga so far, so i assume the Kaiju are enough danger that most countries dobt dare risk war due to constant or possible kaiju attacks. But nothing has been made clear eo that is only speculation. I absolutely love how they protray the new recruits as meshing together and competing yet supporting one another, this series is such good vibes! Kafka finally getting a win outside his Kaiju from is so encouraging, and Mina finally displaying for Kafka specifically is a grwat touch! On the other girls: The head of operations for division 3 is Konomi Okonogi. The giantess with blue hair is Hakua Igarashi, she sadly doesnt get a ton of screen time even in the manga or the spin-off novels. Akari Minase is the shorter girl who appears to know Kikoru duringthe induction ceremony and appears tonrun some kind of support role. She appears with two of the Platoon leaders in a later episode so people think she is also a support Platoon member. Tae Nakanoshima is the platoon leader with a cougar personality. She doesbt get a ton of screen time, but her attitude is priceless! There is a very interesting female character introduced from division 1 after the first season of the anime ends that carries a gatling gun and gets a few cool scenes with Kakfa, but since that's post season 1 who knows how the anime will treat her.

Can’t wait for more of your reaction to Nana! I love the dub. Some other BLs you could react to are ‘Banana Fish’, ‘Yuri on Ice’, Given’, ‘Heaven Official’s Blessing’ and ‘Sasaki to Miyano’. They all have great plots! For GL, ‘Bloom into you’ is good!

A- I love this series, i hope you enjoy it! I will keep my comments spoiler free until you catch up 👍 B- Kafka is 32, Mina is 27 or 28, she became division captain at 27, the youngest in cannon. They never explicitly say what the old cut off was, but Kafka tried every year he could. C- I love how quickly thry establish Kafka and Reno's friendship. D- There was a post credit scene in episode 1 only. E- I think they do a fantastic job of balancing the humor and the horror F- They never specifically mention the tigers name, but its Bakko, probably a refrence to Byakko, the Tiger Autum god of the West G- I love that the work crew are so in Kafka's corner. Just good dudes!
