    You can simplify this by using Absolute Value so you don't have to do the Or Negative branch. IF ABS(SUM([values]))>=1000 AND ABS(SUM([values]))<1000000 and so on... In some places/viz types it won't work, though, as far as I've seen (I think it's because it's a string), so in that case you have to build a separate field for each magnitude (one for K, M, B, and <1k) where it only shows if it meets the range, else null, then put all of those together one after the other so only the correct one shows.

    Good workaround, but this is why Tableau absolutely sucks. the UI may look sleek but it's so unfriendly and misses some very easy functionality like making one line dotted. Power BI stays on top because at the end of the day it's just way easier and has these simple features.

    • @rigordatasolutions254

    • @rigordatasolutions254
      @rigordatasolutions254 2 роки тому

      Kindly check-out the type of aggregation you're using - could be the reason your chart shows a lesser value. If for your case, the achievement rate exceeds 100%, then you should factor that when computing the difference (may be you could compute it as 2.0 - % complete - assuming the maximum achievable rate is 200%).
