She was such a good actress, really interesting to watch.

At no other point did Marly and Vicky feel so vulnerable and sisterly. All due repeat to Ellen and Jensen, but Anne Heche elevated these characters. It is rare gift when you get a talent like Anne Heche with great writers and tie up the loose ends so nicely. It was a great tribute to AW and the beautiful Anne Heche.

This wasn’t even close to Vicky in style or attitude or vibe. This was when I stopped watching and went back to OLTL. I temporarily was transfixed and amazed and enthralled by Anne Heche from 1989-1991. I still laugh at this recast.

Jensen wasn't terrible. She was no Anne Heche, but I feel like nobody really cared about Vicky/Marley until Anne Heche took over the role. Ellen Wheeler in my opinion was the worst actress of them all and she originated the role! She didn't look or sound the part. I just always looked at Ellen Wheeler as a test dummy for the roles. I would take Jensen any day over freaken Ellen Wheeler. I think people were so used to Anne Heche fitting those characters so well it was going to be hard for anyone to fill that role. Even if Ellen Wheeler had come back right after Anne, it wouldn't have been the same. Jensen was the better choice and she grew into the role as time went on.

I loved soap operas even though now it looks goofy. I used to record this one just so I could see this couple. I hated her leaving.

I loved the Vicky/Marley situation on Another World, I actually didn’t watch Another World, I was an ABC channel, All My Children, One Life To Live & GH viewer, I watched specifically to see Anne Heche in this roll, but I always thought I saw it on OLTL, until her death. I loved her so much, I actually watched a different soap…only to see her.❤️

It's really interesting to compare this one to the clips of her very first appearance on the show in July 1987. Her acting is way better after 4 years, and it's no lie when she says "Another World" was her "acting college". You can see a lot of the characteristic Anne Heche mannerisms in this clip that you don't see in her debut one. Also worth adding that over those 4 years, she went from pretty to downright stunning.

A lesser actress would have gotten visibly flustered at an earring flying off her ear, necessitating a cut. She just went with it. She was great!

There were definitely some misfires with Jensen as Vicky (and Marley), especially through the first year. But the dialog wasn't serving her, either. Vicky wasn't dumb nor illiterate (the "exterior motive" gaf?). "Vamp" seemed to be the focus of this Vicky at this time, and it's such a marginalization of the character. Probably for the sake of conjuring up conflict, she's depicted as emotionally immature here - a stark regression from Vicky's growth the previous 4 years.

OMG , what an unbelievably amazing beautiful scene!!! I always loved it when Marley and Vicky got along! This has to be the sweetest scene between them! Anne was always my favorite actress to play the twins. It just wasn’t the same when she left. I sure wish she had stayed a lot longer. But I’m grateful that she was there for the time she was. Rest In Peace sweet sweet Anne 🕊 I love you ❤️

Anne Heche I am sorry you were unable to get help, I am sorry for your sons, their pain and the idiots who bother them asking for comments, They deserve time to grieve. She was an actress, that was her job, to those boys she was Mom, leave them in peace to find their way through this terrible time. May she know peace now.

I miss soap operas. The story lines were lame but the acting was always GREAT.

I loved her on this show. She was such a good actor! I tried to remember where I saw her as a young kid (and I would sneak and watch this soap) when my mom wasn’t looking. Now, I totally remember Vicky and Marley. Totally believable actress with such coolness and calmness about her. Ugh, so sad. May she Rest In Peace and may her family find comfort in her memories. Also, may the owners/tenant of the home be able to recover as well. What a freaking tragedy to say the least.

She was the only reason I watched this soap opera.

Daytime TV is tough, and playing twins on daytime is even tougher. She was talented and charismatic, that’s for sure - you can tell just by watching this short clip.

Jake was awesome. He was a funny bad boy. I remember when he would come home to whomever he was involved with..."Hello Cupcake!" A different endearment with each entrance. I wish I would have seen him in other soaps/movies/whatever.
