each pixel is represented as a cube, the darker the pixel the smaller the cube, they also have the save color as the pixel I forgot to set the resolution of the previous video to 4K so I had to do it again

    "Our ancestors are smiling at us imperial; can you say the same?" that line rings in my head after watching this, the idea of radio static being the left-over energy from long ago and potentially being able to see patterns in it the same way we look into this wonderful recreation, just makes me smile. I know Perlin noise is a type of algorithmic generated static, but by definition the static of our universe generated us!?

    It's way easier to see what's going on when the character silhouettes are white (a.k.a. where the perling noise is moving), when the silhouettes are black (where the noise is static) I have to focus way harder to see anything because the moving background keeps f*cking with my brain

  • @BlueDog15391
    @BlueDog15391 29 днів тому

    Sorry, I am confused. It looks just like Bad Apple but skewed to appear as a panel in 3d space, which matches with the title. But in the video description, you talk about some cubes with their size proportional to pixel brightness. So what is actually happening here?

    • @yourlocalprogramer
      @yourlocalprogramer 29 днів тому

      This is a three dimensional world where there are equal amounts of cubes as there are pixels, laid out in the same way, cubes have the same color as the pixel, and the brightness of the pixel determines the size of the cube between 0 and some set size The skewing is seen because of the how the world is rotated to make sure it actually appears 3D instead of some strange projection of the video

    It took ME about.. 1:11 seconds minimum before my brain looked hard enough and was like. "Oh....OH OH yeah i know that thing!" And started to deduce what I was seeing based on what I remember the video looking like at that point in the music. Then, once I saw it I kind of just kept following and my brain followed along too. Just think about the memory of what the original video looks like at that point in the music. And once visualized the memory, try to see it on the screen and then you'll be able to follow along easily if you've seen the original. ❤

    • @AustinsLookingAtYou
      @AustinsLookingAtYou Місяць тому

      Also update: I've rehearsed it just a BIT more, and well.. What i can say is that mostly the parts with the least interesting things in the video are the ones I can't see well, for my brain not me. Don't ask me i don't know, but if I'd give an overall summary I'd say. I have deduced parts of the video I'm seeing to about, i would say is 75 percent-ish of the video IF I had to put a percent on it. A lot of this i just genuinely can't compute because my eyes don't work that way. And honestly, i don't give a f*ck enough about this to try THAT hard. Even IF it's really cool, but anyway nothing but love to the creator. Despite the fact I could probably have a brain aneurysm trying to understand this, it's cool to me. ❤ 💯👍🖐️

      @@yourlocalprogramer Oh of course you're welcome I loved this, and I've seen a lot of bad apple memes in forms of media. But I found this really really unique, people replicate Bad Apple in a bunch of different media all the time. But this was really unique because I never thought of. "What if you did the same but you had to see if you could actually see the bad Apple in it since it's just overlayed?" It reminds me of those really cool optical illusions, and I love those because it's fun to see if you can actually see it, like a challenge. So keep it up, because this was a pretty cool ingenious idea and I think you have tons of talent. 💯❤️
