I have problem with head! Head is not moving from the starting position, looks like head is a bit lower than actual paper and hits the paper and stopped. Is there any way we can adjust Head height?
From what I have found these printers are not serviceable. My latest issue is 8" paper not loading, did a video showing what is happening here that maybe why mine does not want to load 8" paper ua-cam.com/video/Lq0p1a8AYl0/v-deo.html
Wow! What a gift your video is! And the one before it about scanning pictures. And they are about the scanner I have! Do you have a PDF of the audio from this video available? I found so much useful information as I embark on scanning kid pics of my now-56-year-old. But I got flummoxed trying to take notes, look at the software on my other computer, replay parts of your video. Whew! It's great, but overwhelming. Well, thanks for making this video; I'll be sure to play it a few more times before starting my scanning.
Sorry no PDF.

Ummm... you clearly dont do the used thing much man. Ive been buying and selling used gear for literally decades. These are generally only winning tips if the deal isnt good. Guess what, with camera gear, if the deal is good, they probably do already have a list of people who want it. You are advocating the paranoid approach, thos scares honest good sellers away. If a swller has a good deal and they know it, they dont have time for dealing with this. Generally speaking, the better the deal is, the worse your advice is. The real trick is to learn to judge people, and do solid quick basic testing and assessment, not to go out, meet the seller, take some pics, go home, analyze them, go back out... people like that are tire kickers
Hard to judge people when many don't want to even meet the buyer. That is why I say meet, test and decide.
too many buttons on these modern cameras. I purposely disable (via menu) buttons that I do not actively use in order to avoid hitting them by accident and then ending up in an unintended mode (e.g. video).
I very much agree about too many buttons and extra menus that many will not use.
I always take a camera with me - even if they say I can test a lens on their camera. If I buy a body, I'll take a few lens with me. Money isn't grown on trees...
That is true!!
Could you do videos about printing, whats the best photo printer
Thank you! So many of these seem like common sense but so many sales tactics push people into using their emotions to make decisions than logic and reasoning.
Thank you sir, much needed
After I posted this the D1070 started to jam on 8" paper. This video will show you what happened and how it works on 5 & 6 ". Epson sent a replacement. ua-cam.com/video/Lq0p1a8AYl0/v-deo.html
I recently upgraded to an Epson V370 scanner. Does a better job than the scanner on my Epson laser printer. I just scan photos, magazines, and documents. I don't have any film or negatives.
awesome that you saw a badger down there! I'd love to see one in Lethbridge.
Was a first for me. A little scary to come face to face with it.
I can imagine!!!! They are vicious creatures to be respected!
This is incredibly instructive. Thank you!!!
Glad it was helpful!

Hi can it be used with an android device
Not that I know of. Check with Sigma.

What are you thoughts on Lossless PNG files
My scanners don't offer a PNG option, but they do have several other settings. For example, there's a bitmap setting, which I don't recommend for photos. As well as JPEG, multi-page TIFF, PDF, and print image matching for both JPEG and TIFF. If you're looking to preserve all the detail without any loss, TIFF is your best bet. Personally, I’m not a fan of using PDFs for photos-they work but can be cumbersome. I typically prefer JPEG. While there’s a slight loss in quality, it's barely noticeable for most purposes.
Nice video.
Thanks!
Lethbridge has some great parks within a short drive.
It does, some are world class and only a few hours away.

"I just buy this lens because I need it for work" Well funny thing is I just said it and purchase it yesterday waiting for shipping then I found your video right now I was like "ok maybe I really take the right choice" (my main work is indoor portrait photography that really has few space before this lens I was use 28 F2.8 on apsc so it is around 42mm with that lens I am about to in a wall lol) . Thx for your video
Hope you enjoy it!
My Nikon coolpix 510 has 3 custom modes
Do you use them? If so what have you found helpful to program in?
Is there a dock for the sigma lenses for sony emount
From what I could find from Sigma, no. But I could be wrong as I do not use the Sony so very little experience with it.
Thank you so much for this video, I use a Canon 80D and recently bought a Sigma 150-600 lens and thanks to one of your videos I was able set it up properly. This video is perfect for using the camera settings as wll, thanks again
Great to hear!
Setting my Canon R6 MKll to Auto ISO has been a game changer for me. I always wanted to control it manually, but since making the switch to Auto ISO, I will never go back and highly recommend others to try it. Roger
I does work in many situations to make it a lot easier to get shots on the fly.
Damn I thought MO was movie mode for some reason 😅 thanks!
I have the V600. The biggest question is however : which side you are facing down ? because there are people saying the matt side and others who claim the shiny side down .
Emulsion side (matte side is up). Easiest way to check it is scan a image with a name or license plate and look at it. You can also check it with a picture that has a corsage as the corsage is on the left.
Very useful information, my focus is now consistently locked on without switching over.
❤
Thanks for making this video. I think it will become very difficult or frustrating to switch between bbf or not. Either you have to use it, or not. I am sorry, but I have to tell you. The first thing pro photographers do when they receive a new camera, They turn the beep-sound of.
So after I have been shooting for 39 years, making 3+ million from photography, teaching thousands of students it comes down to a BEEP. Sorry but this pro likes the beep for many reasons. I did turn it off when doing weddings but that was it. Have a good day!
Yes and know. At low speeds you may push camera forward, causing movement in image
Never had this problem any more than pushing down when using the shutter button.
Past time to change the shape of it ; maybe a 'pill' shape' Something a bit bigger and not just another little round thing. (Nikon user and was Pentax).
Been back button focusing for a long time. Different camera's have different ways to set it up. Pentax for example when setting up back button focus it disables the shutter half press. On Olympus (depending on E-M body) you have to go in set up back button, disable half press shutter and now the half press sets up IBIS so you have to remember to half press and "pre-load" the shutter to help with camera shutter movement and have the incredible IBIS to kick in and have up to 2 sec hand hold exposures. The huge benefit to back button focus is that you can do C-AF or servo AF all the time and it can act as S-AF or one shot just stop pressing it.
I've been an enthusiastic hobbyist for a couple of decades now but have only recently started using back button focus. I wish I'd started doing this years ago! I use a relatively old 5D MK3 - I'd be interested to know how much of a difference it makes on modern mirrorless cameras with more sophisticated focusing systems.
If you want more on focus watch this video ua-cam.com/video/yGK557vbWm4/v-deo.html
When you want a professional photo print this is the best way to do it. No glass required!!
Great presentation Thank you.
Thank you nice and clear instruction and not too fast !
Glad you liked it!
Have you done the aperture video ? we can't find it
Oh found it lol
Was just going to post a link. Hope you enjoy it.
Should it be making a noise like a resetting focus sound when you turn on the optical stabilizer switch?
When it IS activates it will make a slight whirling sound that will start and stop as it engages. It can also make a slight sifting sound, not as harsh as a rattle.
Tengo una duda. Acepta únicamente papel por la marca epson o podría ponerle papel de otra marca. Puede imprimir en papel brillo. Lustre. O Matte como le llamamos acá en latino América.
You can print on any type paper. I use non-Epson sheet paper. But I'm unable to get any rolls locally other than Epson. I know in the US there is a company that sells glossy, matte, luster, metallic and a couple other papers in rolls. The problem I have is that it costs a fortune to import it into Canada. So if you can find it and it's a common size listed on the printer you can use it.
As good as the Canon 600? It was at that point that I stopped watching this because you clearly have no idea
That's nice. Hope you enjoyed that much.
Muchas gracias por tu video me ayuda mucho
I sold most of my Canon lenses, but in the end, I decided to keep my canon 70-200mm F4 IS version. Now, I am switching to the Sony A7C II with a Metabones adapter, which still provides very good autofocus speed and excellent sharpness. So nowadays, this lens is a pretty good choice for a full-frame camera. ❤
It is one lens that I would miss if I ever sold it.
If you need to choose a tripod here is a video that will help with that. ua-cam.com/video/olzMeUTKKw0/v-deo.htmlsi=ETv3mW5uBrcLSP79
Great review. Thanxs.
Thanks boss! very succinct video, looking forward to using my new lens for Jaguars in Brazil!
Glad it was helpful! ENVIOUS of you getting to photograph Jaguars!!
Excellent, I value the experience of others and learn from them. Thanks
My pleasure!
Very useful video, that 38 years of experience is visible. Thanks for sharing it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I had a 7D. Wish I’d never traded it in. Should have kept it.
Awesome advice cheers. Personally ive been shooting photography sonce my early teens im now 59 for the last 31 years ive shot for newspapers 21 on my last paper anyway last week myself and other 'togs on the rag were made redundant the company are relying on their scribes to illustrate their stories uning the phone cams haga thats progress. So now im going to try to go it alone i have a wealth of photography experience in many many genres im confident in my ability with a camera far less so in my business knowledge having said that my 7 years uoloading content to UA-cam has finally started to pay off i mean fair play 12 nzd a week isnt life changing but hey better than nowt. I never saw YT as a money maker i do it because i enjoy it. Liked and subbed cheers 📷
