Colt Python: The Revolver Legend

In today's video we go over the colt python then take it to the range and fire both .38 special and .357 magnum. I don't have a vast knowledge of revolvers, but I can tell you that the trigger on this colt python is crisp and smooth. The double action trigger has a shelf that you can wait on until deciding to fully pull the trigger and it was a joy to shoot. The .357 although it packs a punch t...

    I've had some good results using the Ned Bomb from Missile Baits, especially in the colder water months. When nothing else gets bit in those cold water months, it has gotten me some bites. I have also used it on the Core Tackle Hover Rig and have gotten a few in the pre-spawn with it. I like the tail action versus using a regular ZMan TRD.

      @@atoadigi I agree i believe the tail action will help especially in the cold months. • @harrycallahan9733
      @harrycallahan9733 2 місяці тому

      Nope. My Colt 1911 is a "1991 series". It's basically their cheapest model, internally a series 80, externally looks like a mil-spec or GI model :) Seies 90 is the Colt Double Eagle, their version of a DA/SA pistol, made to look like a 1911. But for some reason they also stick this name on their Defender line at some point.

  • @jaydee5156
    @jaydee5156 3 місяці тому

    Chewed that one up pretty good. Series 70 and Series 80 are not models. Keeping things simple, though not entirely accurate, Series 70 refers to 1911s that do not feature an internal firing pin block. Your Ruger is an example of this. The Series 70 based designs are considered by many to be the preferred design. Series 80 designs do feature an internal firing pin block. There's no Series 90. 2011, refers to 1911s that feature a thicker grip and a "double-stack'" magazine that provides for more magazine capacity. My wife has owned an SR1911 for many years and considers it to be her favorite.
