Today is January 20, 2025, and today is also the day I officially quit porn for good. I’ve struggled with porn addiction for 11 years and I am now on this long journey of being a recovered porn addict. Constant porn consumption is a disease and it has certainly changed me as a person because I grew up in a broken home and watching porn offered me an escape from all the traumatic shit that my emotionally unstable parents put me through. Those were dark days. I finally (FINALLY) realized that binge-watching porn was messing me up, and it was something that I had to overcome. It took me that long, it took me 11 years, from the time I was 13 (when I watched my first porn video) to now, at the age of 24.

5-htp really helped me from the mental withdrawal of oxy and morphine! I used to use it in my younger years to skip the dip after mdma. It regulates your cerotonin and is a safe herbal supplement. I'm now in detox for tramadol since I had to get back on pain meds a few months after. My body aches and itches and insomnia but the mental part is way easier. Hope it helps!

I just passed the 72hr mark of coming off of tramadol and the skin itch is so annoying when trying to sleep. Luckily I can manage the mental part but have 5-HTP ready if I need help with it

Thanks for the video, the key difference for me was zero withdrawal symptoms, physical or mental, not even within the first thirty days, after Steffon Barkload and what he suggested it's been 9 months now it's like it never was a problem, reading that last version goolging what he put up. So basically tampering is the best way cause I have cold turkey sub and herion and the sub was really bad the trap is trying to go to work and try to get thru the day I just can’t believe that’s there not one scientist and doc that hasn’t found a way to help us get out of this cycle cause there so many people that want of this ride but can’t go to work and prove what about us that are functioning addicted u know I’m not trying to put others down cause where in the same boat but we can’t just stop everything else and lay down for two months so what do u do cause I don’t want to go back to the meetings and the bs of a clinic cause sometime that not what people really need they just need the time and be able to get well enough to get thru and if u can’t do that without living with 30 other people I am loss to get the help I need every thing is a herd mentality

One of the sharpest guys on the subject, I know of. If I May add 1 thing. It's 8 to 10 months before the the loss of sleep starts to subside. A healthy dose of methadone and then detox 1 mg a week and then even tapered out longer in the last 5 mg is the absolute best treatment. IMO.

1st time i quit i made it 21 days. I called my doctor and get a new script filled. I didn't know about PAWS, i didn't know that i would eventually feel pleasure again. I was so upset I couldn't do anything I used to do and I was lonely. Now im 2 days clean again and trying to do this right.

Just a couple of months, but I feel the difference being off everything. I've had opioid problems in the past when I've been injured a few times. Awesome summary Matt! And I appreciate all the comments as well. My neck was damaged while repelling from a BlackHawk helicopter at the Ranger Department, Fort Benning, GA. 20 years ago. I'm retired now -58- and neck was driving me crazy. So been on bupropion patch for three years for chronic pain. Got off meds two weeks ago. YES... The first 5 days MISERABLE. To make matters worse - I suffer from Migraines which are now triggered under all the stress... Week two and ZERO motivation, little sleep, diarrhea, sneezing and low energy. Your presentation put everything into perspective long haul wise. THANK YOU!

that's almost exactly what I'm going through right now with my partner. I'm hoping she also chooses to stay because aint nothing's more important than her and id give up anything for that and currently i completely stripped my life off of this evil. Gabapentin withdrawal is just like benzodiazepines withdrawal it hits the same receptors in your receptors. But anything that can help with the anxiety of withdrawal is worth having clonadine is good for stopping the sweating one minute freezing the next. Kratom works well too but only for a couple weeks because it will make you withdrawal the same as opioids do.

Don’t trust Drs at all. You say you’re addicted to opiates and need some relief. Ok no more benzodiazepines but hears your script. Benzodiazepines have helped millions of people.

I've had a pain pump put in to try to help me with back pain (after multiple surgeries) & it would give me morphine once an hour for the last ten months. But it really wasn't helping with the pain, & my memory was getting really bad so I had them cut off 60% on Monday & cut the other 40% off on Thursday, so I'm on day three. This definitely is the hardest thing that I've ever had to go through in my life by far. It's great to find this channel so I know that other people understand, so that you for sharing this. They only thing that you didn't cover that happened alongside everything else is the hallucinations & the thoughts of everything bad, sad, hurtful or harmful that I've done throughout my life! Not on good thought, happy memory or joyful moment. Is that normal or not? Day three is just starting so wish me luck & with God's help I'll get through this.

How about you just say about all of your suggestionsthat "this can be habit forming...etc etc " at the beginning of the video instead of after every one 😂
