I am barely awake since I just finished rewatching the movies at 1 am but I still cannot hold back the tears right now. This movie is a masterpiece and I hope more people will be able to watch it some day. I'm planning to read the manga once I get back from summer camp in a week!

I just realized this reflects the title of the movie: A silent voice

the best way to describe depression... is emptiness, and the pain from that emptiness in your life from things you never knew you needed. me personally, i went through verbal abuse for a while when i was a child, i just started losing interest in so many things i used to love, the things i was so passionate about. and then... i just had so many moments, where i was on the edge of ending my own life, there were moments when i was home alone, i was crying and holding a knife to my chest, and yet, i still havent gotten help.
