If Jesus cared. Would I have gone through everything I did. Obviously not. The end
@@Actrealsurprised well, first, I'm sorry to hear if you went through some troubling times and felt like Jesus did not care. However, the fact that he died for us so that we can have eternal happiness in heaven shows that he does care. Jesus did not come to this earth to end brokenness, sadness and terrible things on this earth which is temporary. He did it so we can have eternal happiness with him in heaven where nothing bad will ever happen and that cannot compare to this life. If one of my kids hurt themselves does that mean I do not care? Unfortunately, evil happens due to evil people. We are human. But Jesus gave us the opportunity to have eternal happiness and that shows he cares.
Yeah sounds a whole lot like religion.
Jesus loves you
AMEN ❤
😊 he walks with you every day 😇do something wrong bet your conscience will talks to you do something good you get a feeling inside is unlike any gift🎁you can be given😊
Yea and Amen!
If you walked with him everyday, or most of the time, you would eventually believe him. But in rumors it would have been so hard and you would hear different reports and opinions about him
I feel like in today’s age. It would be even harder for people to believe because everyone thinks that the video that they seen of the miracle being performed was either edited or CGI and they wouldn’t believe it so I actually think Jesus would have a hard time today having followers and believers then back then back then it was only word-of-mouth if you didn’t witness the miracle yourself many people would say, to Jesus perform another miracle they didn’t witness the previous one and that’s when things were not with deception that we have today with technology people post fake bs all the time and even have bots as followers and bots, putting comments on their videos
Fr
I agee. Definitely harder.
If you only fallow Jesus for the miracles, you are not following Jesus. If you are following Jesus, everything in every day is a miracle.
Amen!
The institution of the Eucharist is specifically recounted in the New Testament in several key passages, underscoring its significance in Christian faith and practice: 1️⃣ Synoptic Gospels: - Matthew 26:26-29: Here, Jesus institutes the Eucharist during the Last Supper, saying, "This is my body" and referring to the cup of wine as "my blood of the covenant." - Mark 14:22-25: This passage similarly records Jesus blessing the bread and wine, connecting them to His body and blood. - Luke 22:19-20: Luke includes Jesus' command to "do this in memory of me," providing a clear directive for the celebration of the Eucharist. 2️⃣ St. Paul's Letters: - 1 Corinthians 11:23-26: St. Paul recounts the institution of the Eucharist, emphasizing its purpose as a memorial of Jesus’ sacrifice and a proclamation of His death until He comes again. 3️⃣ John 6:22-59: Known as the Bread of Life Discourse, Jesus profoundly teaches about being the "bread of life" and speaks of the necessity of eating His flesh and drinking His blood to have eternal life. While not an account of the Last Supper, it is key to understanding the theological foundation of the Eucharist. These passages collectively present both the institution and theological significance of the Eucharist, making it a cornerstone of Catholic faith. Favorite scene from the chosen. Looking to God for healing, peace, and true happiness is foundational to the Christian understanding of our human nature and destiny. Here’s why we, as Catholics, turn to God for these deep desires: 1. God as Our Creator: We believe that God created us out of love and for love. As the source of our being, only God truly knows what will fulfill us. Our hearts are restless until they rest in Him, as St. Augustine famously stated. Turning to God aligns us with our ultimate purpose and identity. 2. Jesus as the Source of Peace and Healing: Jesus, the Prince of Peace, offers us reconciliation with God and healing of our spiritual and physical ailments. In the Gospels, we consistently see Jesus healing the sick and offering peace, demonstrating that divine healing encompasses both body and soul (Matthew 11:28-30). 3. The Holy Spirit as Our Comforter: The Holy Spirit dwells within us, bringing peace, joy, and guidance. The fruits of the Spirit, such as love, joy, and peace (Galatians 5:22-23), are manifestations of the divine life within us, leading us to true happiness beyond worldly circumstances. 4. Eternal Perspective: Earthly pleasures and successes are transient, yet God offers us eternal fulfillment and happiness. By looking to God, we orient our lives toward eternal life, where ultimate peace and joy are found in communion with Him (John 14:27, Philippians 4:6-7). 5. Participation in the Sacraments: Through the sacraments, particularly the Eucharist and Reconciliation, we encounter Christ’s healing grace, receive peace, and maintain our relationship with God, which is central to our happiness. Jesus didn’t have long hair
@@audreysmith6923 I unfortunately have not met him so I couldn't say. That was the painting done when Jesus appeared to st faustina. Saint faustina had them redo the painting many times because it just was not capturing his whole beauty. Thank you for sharing. God bless my friend.
And how do we know it's not a picture of Satan?
@@sammygomes7381 check out the diary of saint faustina and you can read everything that Jesus told her when he appeared to her with his message of mercy. The devil would definitely not repeat the words he said. It is an optional devotion that Catholics can choose to participate in or not. Why someone would think it would be the devil when it's all about Jesus' infinite mercy and love for us and placing your trust in Jesus Christ. I don't know but I think when those that might think that read the whole message it could possibly become more clear. Just an option. Oh and as far as the picture, Saint faustina said the painting could not compare to the actual beauty of Jesus. They had to redo it so many times because she said it just wasn't capturing all of Jesus but eventually had to use the best they had. God bless my friend.
Thank you man!! Amen!!!
@@ChaseCummings-ud5xk you are welcome! God bless my friend.
The Divine Mercy image is a profound representation of God's boundless mercy, revealed to St. Faustina Kowalska, a Polish nun, during the 1930s. The image depicts Jesus with rays of red and white light emanating from His heart, symbolizing the blood and water that flowed from His side on the cross. Below the image are the words, "Jesus, I trust in You," inviting the faithful to place their trust in His mercy. Pope John Paul II, a great proponent of the Divine Mercy devotion, emphasized its importance for the Church and the world, particularly in times of great need. The image serves as a visual reminder of Christ’s love and mercy, encouraging us to seek His forgiveness and extend His compassion to others. Trusting Jesus with everything is at the heart of Christian faith, rooted in His divine love, wisdom, and providence. Jesus invites us to trust Him completely, as He reassures us in Matthew 11:28-30, saying, "Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest... for I am meek and humble of heart." His promise of rest and support is grounded in His perfect understanding of our struggles and His desire for our ultimate good. Moreover, Jesus is the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for His sheep (John 10:11), illustrating His sacrificial love and unwavering commitment to our well-being. By entrusting Jesus with our lives, we acknowledge His sovereignty and perfect plan for each of us, even in trials. He transforms suffering into an opportunity for growth and deeper union with Him, as demonstrated through His own Passion and Resurrection. Trusting in Jesus doesn't exempt us from life's challenges, but it grants us peace and hope, knowing He is with us every step of the way. His words, "I am with you always, until the end of the age" (Matthew 28:20), assure us of His unchanging presence in all circumstances. So, you like looking like the Church that Jesus founded without actually being a part of the Church that Jesus founded. Got it.
Yall don’t believe in apostolic succession. 😑
The canon of the 73 books of the Bible, as recognized by the Catholic Church, was progressively affirmed through a series of councils and synods. The establishment of this canon reflects centuries of discernment by the Church to identify the books inspired by the Holy Spirit. Initial groundwork for the canon can be traced to the Council of Rome (AD 382), under Pope Damasus I, where a list of canonical books was issued. This was followed by the Synod of Hippo (AD 393) and the Councils of Carthage (AD 397 and 419), which reaffirmed the same list, including the deuterocanonical books. Later, the Council of Trent (1545-1563), amid the challenges of the Protestant Reformation, definitively confirmed the 73-book canon of Scripture as dogma thereby solidifying the Church's authoritative teaching on the matter. This canon includes the 0ld Testament and the New Testament as traditionally accepted in Catholic teaching, reflecting both the Jewish Scriptures used by early Christians and those writings specifically apostolic in origin
In the Old Testament, the practice of confessing sins is present, illustrating the necessity of repentance and seeking God's mercy. Leviticus 5:5-6 outlines the requirement for the Israelites to confess their sins as part of the sacrificial system: 'When someone is guilty in any of these matters, that person shall confess the wrong committed, and make reparation." This practice is part of the process to receive atonement through the offering of a sacrifice. Additionally, Proverbs 28:13 emphasizes the importance of confession "He who conceals his sins prospers not but he who confesses and forsakes them obtains mercy." These passages demonstrate an early understanding of confession as a path to divine forgiveness
Biblical references below 👇 The Eucharist is instituted by Jesus during the Last Supper, as recounted in the Synoptic Gospels and echoed in 1 Corinthians. In Matthew 26:26-28, These actions and words establish the Eucharist as a sacrament of His Body and Blood. Additionally, in John 6:53-56, Jesus emphasizes, “Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you,” pointing to the Eucharist’s life-giving and salvific nature. Confession, as a sacrament of reconciliation, is biblically grounded in passages such as John 20:21-23, where the risen Jesus imparts the Holy Spirit to His apostles, granting them the authority to forgive sins: “Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.” This apostolic authority establishes the Church’s role in the sacrament of Confession. Additionally, James 5:16 highlighting the communal aspect of acknowledging sins and seeking divine mercy through the Church’s ministers. Sacramentals and relics, while not sacraments, are rooted in Scripture and tradition as means to deepen faith. In Acts 19:11-12, God performs extraordinary miracles through Paul, where handkerchiefs and aprons touched by him brought healing and exorcism, illustrating the reverence for objects associated with holy people as channels of divine grace. Similarly, in 2 Kings 13:20-21, a man is brought back to life when his body touches the bones of the prophet Elisha, highlighting the belief in the sanctity and power connected to the physical remains of the holy. These examples underscore how God's power can be mediated through physical objects, prompting devotion and aiding in spiritual growth. Tradition holds a significant place in Scripture, affirming its role alongside written Scripture in transmitting the faith. In 2 Thessalonians 2:15, Paul exhorts the believers to "stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught, either by an oral statement or by a letter of ours," indicating that apostolic teaching was handed down both orally and in writing. Similarly, in 1 Corinthians 11:2, Paul commends the Corinthians for maintaining the "traditions" that he delivered to them.

In a world often rife with division and discord, embracing a more peaceful and loving approach is essential to counteract the pervasive climate of hatred. As Christians, we are called to reflect the love and peace of Christ, becoming beacons of hope and reconciliation in our communities. By fostering understanding, offering forgiveness, and actively seeking to heal wounds, we embody Christ's transformative presence in the world. This commitment to love and peace not only diffuses conflict but also builds bridges across cultural, religious, and ideological divides, cultivating a society where the dignity and intrinsic worth of every person are recognized and cherished. In this way, we contribute to the realization of God's kingdom on earth-where love triumphs over hatred, and peace reigns over turmoil. #thegrowingcatholics #therosary #pray #theeucharist #fultonsheen #catholic #adoration #jesus #ourladyofsorrows #prayer #god #peace #love #stmichael #thebible #archangels #stfrancisofassisi #lovethyneighbor #forgiveness

Generally there's always something we can be thankful for. When I find myself getting too stressed or not happy with certain things I tend to forget to keep being thankful. Just because life is not going the way that I necessarily want at that current moment, it shouldn't stop me from being thankful to God for everything else he has giving me. No we can’t because even if you are reading it then you are not understanding it. “Call no earthly man father.” “No one gets to the father except through me “ “ The elders of the church should be married and have children” Just your priesthood alone violates so many scriptures . Not to mention all the other perversions and the fact that your entire church structure was created to manage and dominate a state structure of government. Where the rich and powerful put themselves in between you and God. Bastardizing, The, death, burial, and resurrection, putting themselves in the position of Christ and God’s right hand
Not true but okay. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
@The_growing_catholics The Catholic Church picked up exactly where the Pharisees left off. “Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: all therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, and love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor! Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?” Matthew 23:1-17 KJV
I highly encourage reading the Bible daily as so does the church, but let's not forget how much scripture is in the mass. A practicing Catholic gets lots of scripture. I also recommend trying to memorize scripture however, it's not mandatory. If you walk away from your prayer time with what God was telling you while reading the Bible but dont remember word for word the scripture you read? Then that's fine. I know a good bit of scripture and where to find what I need but if you asked me to share word for word, I would butcher it. Happening today. The crucifixion of a son/father in family court.
God tells us ‘honor your Mother and Father’. Mary is Jesus’ Mother. I cannot imagine the agony Mary suffered watching her Son suffer and die such a horrific death.
Nope. I don’t think about fake bullshit. Well, that’s not true. Sometimes I think about Lord of the Rings
What do you consider fake exactly?
@ the bible, quran, talmud, torah, Lord of the rings, harry potter, Sesame Street etc
@@diffdorff1274 so do you think everything in the bible is fake?
Why are you here? Why do you care so much about this subject when it's "fake"? It's obvious you're offended by Jesus' life, which, btw, is an actual historical event, you should really look into what non believing biblical historians say about people like you who say it's this crap before you look even more foolish than you already are.
Mary's suffering during the crucifixion is profound and multifaceted. As a mother, she bore immense emotional anguish witnessing her Son's torture and death. Her sorrow is recognized in the prophecy of Simeon, who foretold that "a sword will pierce your own soul too" (Luke 2:35). Mary's suffering is seen as encompassing not only personal grief but also a spiritual participation in Jesus' redemptive sacrifice. Mary's suffering can help us by offering a model of steadfast faith, compassion, and perseverance through trials. Her acceptance of suffering and her unwavering trust in God's plan provide a source of hope and encouragement for our own challenges. By meditating on her sorrows, we can find strength to endure hardship, knowing we are not alone in our struggles. #ourladyofsorrows #therosary #mothermary #jesus #god #prayer #pray #prayforsouls #catholic #theeucharist #fultonsheen #adoration #catholicfaith #catholichistory

Not every day you're going to feel like praying. You will not always get those feelings of joy When you pray. Some days you don't even want to pray. It's still something that I struggle with and struggle to find the perfect routine. I think it's one of those things that is never going to be perfect but I know I need to. I know I can't grow my relationship with Jesus or even here him if I don't give him my time. Now when I did start praying just 10 minutes a day granted it was better than not praying at all but once someone explained it to me as a friendship it made a lot more sense and helped me. I have never just sat down with a new friend for 10 minutes a day so why would I treat my relationship with Jesus any differently. Me personally I like to do my prayer time first thing in the morning to start my day off. And then just throughout the day little prayers here and there. #thegrowingcatholics #theeucharist #pray #therosary #catholic #fultonsheen #jesus #ourladyofsorrows #prayer #catholicfaith #faith #stmichael
