I have never truly understood the feeling of “getting your breath taken away” but after watching this beautiful dancer, my breath was truly taken away, I was on the edge of my seat, watching with intendment. She is a wonderful dancer

Awesome dancer. Amazing face. But there was a choreography issue here if she wasn’t doing Acro then she was doing some jazz type moves. Which with this song just doesn’t work

The dancer is outstanding, but the dance doesnt really match the meaning of the song. Also where are the turn sequences? If shes a senior she should at least be able to do a somewhat complex fouette combo

Contrary to some of the comments down below, I think this was a beautiful piece. And yes, the expression of the emotions that the song elicits was quite adequate. She is strong, athletic and musical. My only issue was how the song was edited. I know and love the song. Whoever edited yanked out major high points in the song that would have given an opportunity for the dancer to shine while taking the watchers on that emotional journey. In summary, the song edit muted the sublimity of the song and left me slightly dissatisfied. The dancer did great, regardless anyway.
