We stayed at Mandalay Bay in 2010, you could almost walk across the street and on to the tarmac to throw eggs at the plains and get in tickle fights with the stewardesses.

Funny how much faster the plane seems to be moving when almost to the ground and when landing on the runway compared to earlier in the video when about a mile high above Las Vegas. Everything's wooshing by when almost to and when touching down on ground. While way up, everything down below is hardly moving past. You may think that the plane's moving slower when higher up, but it's not. Actually, the plane's flying a little faster when a mile above the city than when it was touching down. It's interesting

Been in Vegas 30 years. It was nice back then when the Mafia ran things. Now it more closely resembles an indigent 3rd world country once you get off the strip. Filled with foreigners, Mexicans and f'ing Californians. Gangs and drugs and crime and undesirables just as bad as Los Angeles.

The Sunset Casino and the stores in the area I do most of my shopping on my days off. ----- And at the east end of the runway you landed on is my favorite place to video planes landing here at Las Vegas. I love to get shots of the British Airways 747 landing and taking off about 7 P.M. . ----- Rusty

Great video Steven Campbell of you decent into Las Vegas. ----- at 10:48 into the video I can see the Sunset casino and the area where I do most of my shopping on my days off. I live about two miles north from there. And just at the start of the east end of the east-west runway at Eastern blvd and Sunset blvd is a place I love to use a digital camera and film the airliners landing. It is great to get to catch a shot of a 747 once in awhile taking off or landing. ----- Rusty

Thanks for posting it steven. Thousands of tourists have shot video of me on the street and I have to say, without question, this is one of the worst shows I've done. (Was trying a new set out that day, not to mention it was a bit chilly outside for Vegas) @Kieku ty, you are correct, every single street magician does the same routine(ty Gazzo) @LeHand your handle screams magician, have you ever street performed? If so I would like to see it, if not quiet down.

Great Video!!! Miss that place lived there for 13 years. Been away for the last 2 years. Its not as Nice, Safe, or as Affordable as it used to be but, have tons of friends still living there. 7 days in Sept will be there. Again Great Video.

There are lots of real talented street performers out out on the strip and some really amazing cool costumes!It is NOT fare to judge all of them just because of some bad seeds!!! The real Bad people and criminals r everywhere and all around us,but NOT wearing costumes out under extreme weather,in the burning heat,entertaining,and working sole got tips!

That batman impersonator had being verbally assaulted by that drunk idiot tourist.The tourist tossed a construction cone at the batman impersonator and got in his face!That's ASSAULT!Batman wad just trying to defend himself.That uneducated stupid tourist punched and slammed batman to the ground!!!That tourist started the whole thing and ASSAULTED the street performer!!!

I love the street performers in las Vegas.

yes, they also get into fist fights with the tourists, just google batman fighting tourist las vegas. they also sell drugs and steal from shops to feed themselves. some are okay, but some are big problems. the okay ones have great costumes and look awesome, the cheap crappy ones ruin it for everyone.

Some of these street performers are absolutely great.They bring smile to peoples faces.I love Las Vegas.
