At the time of writing a good old blast out in this amazing machine was £30, well worth it and what an experience!! Skipper spared no horses on way back it was all I could do to try and hold on and film as best I could… highly recommended if your ever down here.

Ok with all our pot holes it’s hard to remember when we had nice new flat roads like our motorways, but a lot of final flattening occurred with plant like this. Welland Steam Fair is something to behold and nothing beats seeing vehicles running and doing real work like they do on the hill on the heavy haulage display. Just fantastic!!

Talking to the old guys who worked with machines like this back in the day, they really rated them. Future machines of course have far more creature comforts and that’s all for the better, but still nice to see amazing historical plant at the Welland Steam Fair (what a great day out that is too!).
