what is the heat resistance factor for styrene?. Are you not concerned with the heat from the lighting or electronics melting the styrene?

Materials can add up quickly, no doubt. Measure twice, cut once. 👍

Actually I've found that sacrificing fingers as opposed to damaging the material is a little bit cheaper. Fingers will heal up in time; you'll be stuck with damaged styrene forever... Of course if it's a matter of having a severed finger (or fingers) sewn back on and having surgery to repair the nerves, and having to go through therapy and relearn how to use the surgically-repaired hand, ignore my previous statement and just be careful. In other words, I should just be quiet and watch the rest of the video.
