It’s fantastic that Vancouver is offering open tryouts to give young women an opportunity, and to possibly discover the next great Sincy. To me, being open and creative is essential for the entire league to be successful.
Go tides go 🌊🌊🌊
OK so I see teams have started signing players. But if the objective is to grow Canadian talent, why not market and set a priority to sign Canadian players before announcing international players. ???
Oh... c'était vraiment judicieux de demander un contenu d'équipe/de ligue en français... et il serait vraiment judicieux de proposer un tel contenu d'équipe/de ligue en français... judicieux à bien des égards... y compris sur le plan commercial... (Bravo Radio Canada) ua-cam.com/video/c0Z7dKxsqrc/v-deo.htmlsi=Gu7UvTazmhTE3b62&t=975 Oh... that was really wise to ask for team/league content in French... and it would be really wise to offer such team/league content in French... wise in many ways... very much including business wise... (Bravo Radio Canada)
Does this make Christine an honourary relative of Ryan Reynolds?
(Congratulations, by the way, this is great news!)
Great artwork in the background for the team. Part of the ad campaign? Poster for season ticket holders?
So true. Facts!
Stoked for 2025. Can't wait to get season tix for Vancouver Rise FC, deposits in!
I wish this league every success. I am excited to bring my daughters to these games. But it's damn hard to bring pro soccer to Canada. The Canadian Premier League is struggling. I just saw the Vancouver FC game against the league champion Forge FC in Langley. There was like 100 people in the stands, if that. It's really hard to build these leagues and the amount of investment is incredibly high. The only way investors will put in money is if they think people are going to come and consistently watch games. I hope the league can survive the crucial early years until there is enough critical mass. All the while they have to pay the players decent salaries. It's a tough cost equation.
I was concerned when I heard VFC was playing out of Langley. Tough to draw the Vancouver crowd. As sad as it sounds, uncovered stands in our client is a huge deterant.
