I moved to London in the late 1970's, it was clean ,beautiful, low traffic, 200,000 population , i moved away in 2010 as it was growing in people but not in infrastructure, now its approaching 500,000 i go back to visit friends a couple times a year and am shocked at what it has become,

I lived in London in 2018 for 5 months and fell in love with this city... I still have the dream of returning to live there with my family.

I lived there for 4 years...what a shthole of a city...they don't put garbage cans anywhere so the people just throw their garbage all over the street. Streets are too close to the sidewalks and dangerous. Get splashed in the rain or snow by the cars. Not to mention the drug problems and mental illness of many of the residents. I ran out out of that city.

Interesting comments.... i grew up in London and lived there for the first 25 years of my life before moving to the GTA. I always thought London was a good city but i notice Toronto ppl talking trash about london a fair bit. It seems to have a negative reputation outside of SWO.

I've been asking myself WHY LONDON ONTARIO for years. It's the space between the balls and the ass of the universe.

What I love about my hometown is the roads. Omg we have the worst roads you actually feel like you are driving on bricks or something. Traffic is the worst, nothing but drive and stop drive and stop. Our downtown is scary to walk around at night.

Hello! Is London a safe place to live? I’ve heared some people said that the case of crimes there is high and no job opportunities. How true is this?

My family and I are thinking in moving London from Montreal. I was wondering, if hats the coldest it gets with the wind factor and all?

They left out the part where in the past 10 years London has become a crackhead nightmare, park riverbanks are full of tent encampments , downtown core full of tents, you cant go downtown or in a park without being accosted by someone high out of their minds , needles on the ground, poop on the ground.. the city and cops do nothing to drive these people out

I came to London from the Greater Toronto Area for schooling and I can see why many love the city. I agree with what's being said here. People love to throw opinions around but I would encourage everyone to visit the city yourself before making your own opinion. Maybe the city isn't for you, but maybe it is! Awesome video Justin, the editing and cinematography was amazing. I'll be sure to contact you should I have any real-estate needs.

My favorite festival of the year from when I lived in SE Michigan. I am so sorry to have missed being there in person. Just as the couple said, it is the peaceful and loving community there and the fantastic music line-ups that make this festival such a gem.

This was and always will be such an important festival to introduce Londoners to all sorts of different cultures!

What about young families ? How's education and average costs of day caring and house prices ? Also job opportunities for non tech labor?
