Thanks für the repair guide. Somehow I got a repair kit with the power/audio buttons missing, even without any tape to fix the one from the old display unit. And if you got the cable wrong the LED lights up. Testing before reassemble might be helpful.

Ahhh, so you DO have to pop the battery out. Damn I got that far and read "do not remove battery it will explode!" And stopped. Memories flooded in of the time I threw a hot lithium ion battery away at a garbage bin outside a building, went to get a coffee, and returned to find a fireman dowsing out the smoky barrel and the librarian going "Wait till we get those damn kids". I owned up to it and told her the truth. But you sir have given me courage! (Im going to do it outside anyways haha)
