Since 2012 James Allan has written songs and passed them to John McAleavy to develop and record. The results have been uploaded to various streaming platforms as 2:58AM (sometimes listed as two58am). Styles and subject matter vary as does quality of recording, playing and singing but feel free to listen and comment. Also, get in touch if you would like to use or re-record any of the material. Two pictures taken on a ski holiday in France inspired the words for this song, the first picture is shown at the first line of the first verse and the second picture is at the first line of the second verse. I (James), started the tune on an open chord tuning and John developed it overlaying standard tuning.
