Can it be rode on the freeway (55 mph?)
Great bike, my husband has the same exact one! That’s his baby! We love it! All original.
Trey fomykarmannghia74
Are you selling it? For what price?
No such thing, 76 was the last year of the KZ900.
but how do you drain the pool totally using the maindrain ?
Beautiful example of a motorcycle that most Z1/KZ guys believe does not exist. It is funny because there is one in my garage also. Yes a 1977 KZ900-A5
What if you don’t have one of those knobs
Remember to stay clear of the drain!
Would be easier if you would trim the vegetation back from the pump so you can see it.
Talk about memories! In 1962, I had a paper route in San Antonio, Texas, and my father bought me a 1962 Mustang scooter, this same exact model, steel wheels and all, and I drove it all Spring and all summer, then my Dad got orders for Germany and I had to sell it for what I paid for it! I really loved that bike, and to see this one just brings back all sorts of great memories! The color of mine was black, otherwise it was this one's twin! Thankyou for the memories!
Yes it's a 76 not 77
It's a 1977 KZ900A5 , harder to find than the 1976 KZ900A4
76 bro. Last year of the 900.
William Robarge I have a 77 900 as well . They stopped the 900 mid 77’
Hey Kyle, I guess it's possible that Kawi made a few in 77 just to use up leftover parts but I'd have to see it. What color was it Stock?
76 were A4 77 were A5
The earlier hardtails were beautiful , The later softtails not so much !!

If you love flat heads, you gotta love the Mustang. A real motorcycle transmission, bigger wheels, make this several steps up from a Cushman. Extremely nice example..and I think for a Mustang.. it must be a pretty late one. I pressed my face against the glass when I was 12 or 13 looking at these in the motorcycle shop window circa 1959.
I loved those bikes back in the day, Several of my friends owned them. I wasn't fortunate enough to afford one but they let me drive them occasionally. I believe they came in both 5HP and 10HP versions.
Many bikes of that vintage had the brake on the left and shift on the right, BSA, Triumph, Harley Sportster. Finally the govt decreed that needed to be standardized with the brake on the left and shift on the right, that happened in the late 60s if I remember right. That spot on the tank looks like rust forming under the paint, a lot of the 50's model cars did the same thing, eventually the rust busts through, then that area has to be cut out and new metal put in its place, Bondo won't fix deep rust like that.
👍👍👍
Thank you! Saved my a** during Hurricane Matthew!
I HATE Having A Fear Of These Monsters!!!! It's Embarrassing!!!!!!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Dragotized 969 me to
Why can't it go counter clockwise?
Shane Harvey screws up the gasket
Looks good but the racket sounds like a dry rasping bearing or bushing in the transmission self destructing. That machine should not even be driven untill the noise is investigated. Damage is being done. Runs good? LOL
It was running PERFECTLY! The sound issue was not the engine, it was the older FlipShare recorder's microphone. It would cause that same sound when you recorded any engine running. The bike has sold and the owner is VERY happy! Thanks to all for your comments!
I stand corrected !
On my pool the breaker is the one closest to the fence and furthest from the concrete, would this pose any problems?
What if there is no concrete or fence? I guess your out of luck because you need a space alien to do it.
Lmao
Sweet instructions, so my switch should also be the one closer to the concrete right?
why put it on youtube when it isn't running right ?
I love that engine. I really may need to get one of these at some point.
Cute lil' bike, I like it!!! But I prefer a Harley myself!
small engines run faster that's just the way it is this is only a model version the real thing is significantly bigger
Sounds good. Good condition. How much are you selling it for?
If you want a bike that took up on the mustang check out california scooter company its awesome
Not sure they are still in business...
This is one sickly sounding 1976 KZ900A4!
Why do you think it is a 1976 when the man said it was a 1977.
@john thonig How can you tell it is a 1976 instead of a 1977?
@john thonig Just the fact that the title says '77.
@john thonig Not me, I was just asking questions which apparently you don't want to answer.
Fine Looking Old Mustang, always wanted one, but were rare in my part of the country, were stuck with the Cushman Eagles!
Cool
Very nice. Usually the stirling motors are noisy.
@tgbg64 Also be sure to check out Call Makers News for more duck call making suppliers
I purchase my bands from Al at THO Game Calls and I use High Tech Laser in Lees Summit, MO for the engraving
@151tdawg Thanks for your reply. However, I do not do this for the public.
@TheManFromAlaska Thanks for your question. I fully intend to do so this fall.
can you do this for a person??
Nice tutorial. Is there a chance that you will make some videos to show the rest of the process? Thanks -- TMFA
was interisting wonderful .... how long it can run contiued ? please
i have a '77 kz900 with only 2400 miles, my father bought brand new that he just recently gave me, cant wait to ride it
