What level of archiving and cataloging do you do with your comic collection? Do yo record (write down in a ledger) the price you paid, the day you bought it, the story summary, the artist, colorist, cover artist, writer, grade, ... etc?
Arron - The guy who took that picture of Bigfoot's back, "Applefoot" did take more pics, even of a 3/4, or near a front-on-face image. None is any more convincing than any other. There's a detailed story to go along with this nonsense as well.
Arron, I had no idea that you “borrowed” the idea for our favorite, fetching Astro-Woman, Kit Carson.
From the ‘50s-‘70s. They are awesome. Did you steal”cough”… I mean liberate those out there styles. I’m only teasing, but I was taken a back a bit when I first saw these beauties in those sexy vacuum tight bodysuits. Seriously, though I think it’s very original for you to a Western/ 52:35 52:32 Horror hybrid comic. Great illustrations and writing. By the way, I have a filmmaking degree.” I have written about a half a dozen screenplays and short stories/ novellas. I directed a couple of short films in college that I thank God that I still have. The funny part is that even though I would get ambitious to start making a 5 to 10 minutes movies By the way, I am writing, designing, plan, going to direct as well as plan to the short film. Ihave a degree in film as well.
A 1983 chair, with a pair of 1998 jeans on it. - Don't start gettin' sloppy Lopez...You're supposed to be a pro.
Even though i'm a few days late, i want to wish you happy birthday, Aaron.
happy birthday.
Happy Birthday Aaron, keep the full beard fella. Its a better look for you as you look like you might be going fishing for a great white 😉
No TEEN TITANS #13 by Nick Cardy!?
Happy Belated Birthday Aaron Lopez Lopresti. FINNALY recieved my Kit Carter books and poster. Amazing! You will always have my backing so long as I have the money.
I think the guy Dan was talking about was Gerald Scarfe, very similar style to Ralph Steadman.
Post-Crisis Brainiac was not a man who got "mysterious powers," he was the transferred consciousness of an alien scientist into a sideshow psychic, then he had his green body grown for him by LexCorp scientists to resemble his original alien form. I think in that comic Art inked he has the new body because the original one was chubby.
I was so devastated when I discovered the Klaus comic recently because I've been tinkering for maybe 6 or so years on a prose short story about a barbarian who becomes the original basis for Santa (or at least that world's Santa). Every year I would think about finishing it and trying to get it out there, but never had an idea of where something like that could be submitted or how to time a submission of it. Now I know it would have always been seen as a ripoff of the comic.
Figgy Pudding is a cake (Brits use "pudding" for various desserts, but we in the US narrowed it down to mainly one kind), usually it has some combination of figs, raisins, nuts, honey, various spices and alcohol. There are also savory meat versions of it, kinda like a pot pie. You might have had it without knowing it.
Hi Aaron Lopresti
Hiya
Now THERES a classic episode & line-up! Kelsey Shannon & (when he’s talking & happy, like with his friend Kelsey!) Dave Williams + the constant of Aaron. I always wonder why the other fella who never draws (& I’ll leave it at that hahahaa) on a draw stream is there. It’s not a sunny personality, nor ability to stay on subject, unless it’s himself. Kelsey is the heart of any show & of CG overall & anyone can see & feel that who’s been around & him not being around or removed hurts everyone. That guys a laugh & a half & nice as heck + caring. Call him, write him, go by there & talk to him about his life & yours, things outside comics & be a real friend. He’s wanting of good friends & in his late 40s or 50s & not dating anyone; it matters to him to socialize & not in a negative way like trashcast is & his 2 lead secondaries Malin & Shane, the latter of which is a lot better than Malin, who is really at fault here, as he is in pretty much all interpersonal relationship issues that arise, as he’s a childish, selfish, egotistical narcissist with limited art skills & a closed minded, dark & all around negative dark view he loves spreading like cancer. Malin isn’t nice or funny, but he sure likes Liefeld & CG-ers money, plus scaring away friends.
Why do you make floppies and not graphic novels?
Hello Aaron
Tried to get you to 72k$ but sadly I was 6$ short. 😢
Merry Christmas, Aaron. Hope you have a great holiday and Happy New Year, too. I remember enjoying reading Tanar of Pellucidar ( I pronounced it Taynar or Pellucidar) when I consumed it in either summer of '79 or '80. I loved Burroughs's Pellucidar stuff.
Alfred should teach or give Batman the control of Bats. Save his life. Distraction. Etc
Everyone killed it. Great show!
59:32… I knew that movie blew!…
Banger of a show for the 💯. Prayers for David.
Great show ! Great job and a lot of fun.
Great stream Aaron. Everyone's artwork was fantastic 👌
1:05:32… ‘Whiner!’
I used to shove guys like Oldbrich in lockers.... Now his ilk rules the world. - Explains a lot.- Kidding. Good show Lopez.
Re: Current cost of comic floppies vs 1985/86. Using an inflation calculator , $1.95 in 1985 is the equivalent of $5.83 today. In 1986 it’s $5.61
That's incredible to think of.
New to the channel thx to Dan. Great to watch you guys create. Merry Christmas to all!
Re: Amazon. Just make sure when you order something that the projected date of delivery isn’t Sunday.
1:46:43… StealthX5 for the kill… Hilarious.
Aaron, you dirty dog. Trying to play off Shelly loving your beard and her back hurting as if they weren't connected.😂😂😂
It’s a shame about Shannon… Easy come, Kelsey go…
Immortal Hulk 15 was drawn by Colan inked by Nebres. Don't know if my bud Keligrew put it up there?
Aaron is always good with the blacks. No matter what tool he uses. The reason Marvel hasn't done anything with Malibu is because allegedly, Marvel threw all of Malibu's stuff away. Once it all fell apart, they pitched all the originals and completes. I guess the same went for the Ultra Force cartoon. They didn't save any of the animation cells.
I'll never forgive Kelsey for dying. NEVER!

Thanks for sharing such valuable information! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
Loved Wrath of God1! Saving up for Kit Carter , Wrath of God 2 & 3! Hope you have a great holiday!
Also, I’ve been really disappointed with a lot of the needless drama/feuding/doxxing/ going on in New CG. Some of the old creators I stopped following & supporting after years over this issue. You have always been a class act and a gentleman and I think a lot of the old CG creators would be wise to follow your example. You don’t create drama but instead create great books. Thank you.
I have to disqualify Dan's finished piece for putting him in a NY Yankees uniform.
After watching this episode, I really want David to work up a bit where he voices Ghey Histler having a discussion with Terence Howard. That, IMHO, might just break the internet.😅
Captain America is still my favorite patriotic hero but he hasn't been written very well for 3 decades. The last guy who mostly "got it" when writing Cap was Mark Gruenwald. Also, Cap is one of the few characters who received an alternate costume design that I liked -- the black outfit Steve Rogers wore as The Captain that was later adopted by US Agent/John Walker. In the brief time I collected minibusts, I got Captain Britain (original 1970s version with the scepter and royal lion emblem), Union Jack, and Vindicator/Guardian (Alpha Flight, James Hudson). The Vindicator design I liked for its maple leaf simplicity and the metallic paint it used. After Cap, though, I would say my favorite patriotic design was Union Jack. The bust had a neat upward thrust with the knife. The Jack mask design also leads to a menace and fearsomeness that lets you know the guy isn't a wimp! LOL
Aaron, Please don't change the day for Sunday Night Aaron Live show, you're my FAVORITE stream on Sundays'/Wednesdays' nights(EST). Kudos to Kit Carter, she is such a fun read. The books art/color are fantastic, the POSTER is beautiful, and the Hard Cover was well worth the wait. I love the HC feel/scent (proud collector 130). I hope to see more Kit Carter in the future. FYI, WOG3 is already backed, the everything tier. Hail 🤩!
That dog at the end was freaky
Great show, love to see what you guys like
If ya'll wanted to get one of your IPs turned into a cartoon, maybe do your 6 degrees (3 degrees, EVS-Jordan Peterson-Jeremy Boering) of separation with the Daily Wire. They've got a pretty big suite of children and animated shows they do at Bent Key and the one adult oriented one with Adam Carolla.
I use my real name, but seldom have anything bad to say! ... I said "seldom". These impromptu auctions always make me kick myself when I watch the show the next day. My Internet was down last night though, so at least I have an excuse for not getting in on Gary's piece.
Lopez, had you spelled Dan's name correctly, probably you would have been done fulfilling by now.
2:00:14... From sixty to zero in 2 seconds...
57:13... David's friend says "What it do N***ahhh?" - C'mon Dave.
