That's such a beautiful poem. It gave me energy to go out for a walk, even though it's gloomy and rainy outside. I spend too much time inside this time of the year anyway. 🤷‍♀️ I'm not a fan of November. Just keep waiting for the snow to come, so the world would at least seem a bit brighter...❄️☃️ Before guests come over, I clean like crazy. I like the wide most of the time with the square sprinkled in occasionally to keep it interesting. Especially when you are outside. Happy Father’s Day a bit late to all the men who love and become fathers. That fireplace was so comforting.

Me two running around what does it achieve your sister has the right idea. My place is small and minimal it’s less to clean. But even this can seem overwhelming it’s relentless sometimes. I now have routines and more minimalist living space. It is never perfect but always ok to live and to have visitors. It means I have time to cook or bake before people come over. I tidy in the time I used to spend on screen time. Outside time, reading, crochet and making music is now easier as I cut screen time. More of everything. ❤ Love your video

In Australia 🇦🇺 November where I live is changeable. It is late spring and can be cold and raining or sunny and hot or even stormy and hot. I am like you. I spend way to much time making everything perfect for guests to come in and place their bags down and food they have bought to share an no one sees or cares about the perfection I have tried to create. I wish I could be more like your sister. ☺️

I live in upstate New York where it gets cold and very snowy in the winter. We sometimes get snow in November, but it “usually” disappears soon after it falls. Many of us survive the darker days by preparing for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It helps to keep our minds off of the dark and the cold. My husband and I like to get dressed in cozy PJs and spend the evenings playing board games or watching TV.

I've always liked long nights and cold weather, probably because I live in Southern Europe and we still get plenty of daylight. I embrace the cosy season, rather than prepare myself to face it, as if it was impending doom. And I don't like cleaning, but I enjoy being home, so I'd much rather be in a clean home. To me cleaning is investing some time doing something to feel cosy and comfortable afterwards.

I love Helsinki airport ("Welcome to HEL"! makes me giggle) It is really beautiful and the Finnair lounges are lovely. You're lucky to have it as your main travel hub.

I clean & tidy before guests co m e over. I like cleaning!!! Our November in Australia is often very hot. Today will be about 23 which is just a nice warm day. Some Christmas days are 35 or more, a bit uncomfortable.

Bonsoir, je suis comme vous j'essaie de tout nettoyer la maison avant de recevoir les invités 😂Mais faire le ménage est un éternel recommencement, habitant en ville, c'est beaucoup poussiéreux 😪Votre sœur a bien raison de se détendre en allant courir 👍❤️, il faut lâcher prise et profiter au maximum des personnes qui nous sont chères. Dans le sud de la France, il fait beau, nous profitons de faire des randonnées dans les calanques et d'admirer la faune et la flore. I’m in the southern USA. It’s just now cool enough for long sleeves. The sky is the perfect bright, fall blue and lots of fall flowers are blooming. It’s our time to rest and be grateful. Mornings are chilly, afternoons are warm. It’s beautiful.

November in New Zealand is the opposite of yours. We are building up to summer and everyone starts to get their pale legs out to the sunshine after a cold winter to colour up. We start getting more active and having BBQ's and beach days. We start coming back to life after tucking away from wind and rain.

Canadian here- I like to turn on a fireplace video and light my electric flicker wax candles which live in 3 groups around my main living area. Dim the other lights for a soft warm glow to welcome my guests. PS if you dim the lights you don’t notice the dust or other little lapses in perfection 😁 and it’s cozy!

I'm just like you.....i have to have everything 'perfect' before guests arrive and, like you, I long to be more like your sister.....but it just doesn't happen! I live in Wales and November is often very wet. We have a lot of rain here. But at the moment, it's cold and sunny so I'm not complaining!

November for me is similar to yours. The days getting darker, the weather colder. Frosty mornings, rain to snow. We do a lot of hiking but also more cozy indoor activities.

Here in the USA it is getting colder, but we have Thanksgiving (and my birthday) to look forward to before the Christmas season.
