In this video I do a brief description of what I did to relocate my horn.
See, this is what I like, real boot reviews. A little story telling, some wear and tear on the boots. Real stuff. I try to do my boot videos the same. I often get asked why I mention my size/weight. Because it 100% means the boot will have a much tougher life than someone weighing in at say 170 pounds. The weight just pounds the soles and stresses the leather. Great video!
@doublebase6509 this is 100 percent true my wife actually runs our tree service with me and she weighs less than half what I do and she has boots 4 plus years old that look new lol weight has a lot to do with it!
Gonna try them. What flatbed may I ask?
@@LazyRC1 it's a cm skirted flatbed on my 2nd gen cummins. It's a shortbed dually. I converted the truck to be a dually and had it all paint matched.
My JK's healed my feet too. I'm glad you found some relief
@IntoTheMystery13 it's amazing what good boots can do!
Badass review brother. I also switched from ariat and Wolverine slip ons to the JKs and couldn't be happier.
@@justragequit7078 it was a life changer, and I didn't even know boots could be a life changer lol
You didn't show the tensioner. The chain can be fine but if the tensioner is bad then you get slack in the chain.
Thanks for doing such a thorough review and especially for including so much practical experience with the jack.
What code are you getting with the stretched chain?
Can u give me a link for that shocks
They were on ebay I don't have a link anymore I am sorry. You may be able to find them by looking up lowering shocks for a street 750
What inches are they?
I do not remember it has been some time since I did that build I do apologize
Any update on this gorgeous bike?
It is hard work, but it can be done by anyone with a baby ratchet and small socket set with about 3 different sizes of extensions....small ratchets are mechanics best friends lol
nice video man I like it, I also do same thinks with mine
You wouldn’t happen to have the link for the shocks?
No unfortunately I don't they were a eBay deal and I believe there were only a couple sets left when I bought them. I just searched lowering shocks for a sport 750 on ebay
Very nice!!!! Where did you place the engine module? (It was located bolted to the plastic at the fender
So the wiring harness has enough length to relocate it directly under the seat I built myself a little bracket to mount it in place worked out really good
If you check out one of my videos I honestly don't remember which one it is but one of my videos on my channel of the build actually covers that and you can see a little more in detail
what size is the seat
I will have to measure the seat later to get the size
hy bro where did u buy the seperate bracket for the seat
I think it was a Amazon deal just search bobber seat brackets
hy bro dont u have any prob with the belt hitting the frame with lowering shocks
Sorry I never saw this comment a little late now but no I never had that problem.
Hy bro don’t u have any a prob with the belt hitting the frame a little when u install the shocks
I have had zero issues and I'm also a heavier rider or was at the time I should say so I would bottom out the shocks when I got bumps. I never had a issue with the belt hitting the frame
where did you get the shocks ?
They were a eBay deal I just found shocks on eBay for a street 750
new sub here bro
hi how is the bike now..
Motorbike looks amazing! What sort of seat is that? What is the size and brand of you rear shocks? Hoping to make some changes to my HD 500.
The seat was a larosa and the shocks where eBay
Good luck on the build
This is what I'm planning on doing to my 750.....curious to see how it looks now...are you going to post another video or do you have pictures elsewhere?
I'll have to get a video soon it's been put up recently for winter
@@jacobsmith9041 haha I live in South Florida....I forgot about Winter
@@jmack8152 ya I live at 10200 ft in the Rockies there like a foot of snow lol
@@jacobsmith9041 Very nice bike!!! Any updates on the bracket you did for the seat?
@@rickyortega8741 no updates I have unfortunately not touched the bike in over a year so I need to finish where I left off
Good on ya bro
have you completed your bobber buid, brother..??
It still needs some welding done here and there and a different set of handle bars. But ya it's pretty much done.
Did you get this finished?
Getting close will have to get a update video
Looks awsome, what fender are you going to use
Probably leave it open fender
Hey great video, I'm thinking of buying one myself and chop it, I don't like the stock look of them
Agreed I couldn't pass this one up for the price I got it at so that's why I decided to make it look better in my opinion.
is the seat available still
Yes seat is still available
How’s the bike looking now? I have a 750 too
It's looking great I will get a new video Soon I still have to have my fab guy cap the holes on the frame and build a plate to cover the electronics.
will you be trying to get rid of or sell the cafe seat?
Very possibly
Are you interested?
@@jacobsmith9041 yes sir, are you a member of the hdstreet forum?
@@devangrey5676 no I am not
@@jacobsmith9041 No problem, wanted to let you know there are a ton of posts there for work on our Streets if you need advice on anything. And as far as the seat goes, what might you be willing to let it go for?
